JEU CITADELLES
« on: May 21, 2019, 01:14:03 AM »
hello to all
I recently discovered the game Citadelles by Bruno Faidutti (the fourth edition)
for those who don't know it, I advise them to try it

I've played it a few times thanks to Danisthirty.  I've enjoyed the deduction process, it's quite similar to love letter in that regard.

I've yet to win a game and find that all players need to be careful managing the lead player, otherwise they can go unchecked and win quickly.

It's a classic!

Yes, Citadels is a great game once you've played a few hands and have gotten used to how it works. Glad you're enjoying playing it too! :) :(y)

Trying to think in the same way as others and carefully choosing what identity to take to thwart them is always important. The social deduction side is certainly a great feature too, although it isn't always obvious as roles are removed at random at the start of each round depending on how many players there are.
