General / Re: Table Talk - how does this happen at your game?

I always place "tile up", as in you show the tile you've drawn - there's not really any need to conceal it from your opponents as they can't play it... In fact, if you're being super-sneaky, you can watch where their eyes wander too if there's somewhere they really don't want you to put it.

I mostly play 2-player, so it's more banter than discussion about the tile placement.

When playing with newbies, I'll always be helpful (even to my detriment) as you want to make sure they enjoy their experience so you can whup their asses later.

I'm also on the Android App - "Durbs" I think...

It seems to work quite well - could do with a scoreboard tally to track matches against your Friends, and they've yet to enable the expansions for online play... and you can only quick match a 2-player game (though I'm not a fan of more than 3 players in Carc).

Strategy Guide / Re: Meeple Trapping

Nice article :)

Discussing expansions would obviously bloat this considerably, but two basic-but-important tiles.

Inns & Cathedrals - Where you mention a trapped meeple will still score, if there's a inn or cathedral involved (often by yourself following the trap ;) ) they will render a trapped meeple worthless.

Abbeys - Very useful for un-trapping, so larger cities will require a double-trap (to the head...)
