Rich_The_Fish vs GLH          :red-meeple: 96:97  :green-meeple:

What a game, i thought after the first one (not knowing what came with the second one. )

I was warned from Rich winning streak. So i played very defensive and tried to block some meeples. But my meeple where blocked instead and Rich went away without problems. But the Midgame was mine. I got all 6(!) cloister and put all the rubbish tiles to my blocked meeple. I got the last rrff tile with my laste draw. Gave me 5 points and a 4 point victory.

Next game i planned more offensive, but right at the beginning Rich closed two nice cities with pennants, started a long road and placed a good farmer. In between I was around 30 points behind. I had to go maximum risk. Now Rich drawed only the wrong tiles. So 3 meeples were blocked and he run out of meeple. 10 tiles to go I placed 2 farmers for the main farm. One joined but the second had to wait till the last tile. Could not join, but oh wonder i was 1 point ahead at the end.

Thank you for the exiting games and sorry for the wrong gratulations in second game

The intent i for neither player to know what tiles will come up before the game starts.  Though the tiles are determined neither player will know the order they will come out.
How you play: agressively/passively/ with high risk or low risk moves are down to the player's abilities to read the tiles and utilize them effectively.

Maybe we have to play first leg and back game at once with the same card distribution to determine the better player :-)

Thank you Jere for the Games.
Especially in the first one I had the feeling that everything i tried failed.
It was a demonstration of player skills.

PS: We dropped the percentage of home victories ;-)

2 great games with glh510 this evening.

Thank you for this nice report, dan. Learned some things this evening, especially your moves to avoid blocking and your ability to join farms were impressive  :(y)

Tried this with I&C and yes everything counts as expected.

Fascinating  :(y)

Hi,

Not sure if this is a bug or only wrong expectation on my side.

I would expect to get the road points doubled due to the Inn.

PS: JCloisterZone 3.4.3 used for Screenshot.

Game 2: TheSteveAllen (Home)  :green-meeple: 107 : GLH510  :black1-meeple: 119

2 Games decided by the farm majority.
In the first game we started early with the farm fight. We created a perfect spot for a road cloister. But we had to wait nearly till the end of the game for them to come.
As there was no progress on the farm i went for a unfinished city with lot of pennants. I got the cloister which gave me a tie on the farm and 9 points. Lucky me :-)

Second game. 3 small cities from the start , so farm battle continued :-)
This time a tie was not enough for me  :-\ . Steve run out of tiles so i could
hold the farm till the end.

Good fight, good night :-)

Leven and I finished two astonishing games. We had the first draw in this league :-)

1.Game: GLH510 (Home) 79 : Leven 67
2.Game: Leven(Home) 91 : 91

Leven will post the screenshots and sum up both games.
In the second game he played extremely impressive against the bad luck of card drawing.

Match 54:

Merlin_89 vs GLH510: 102:111
GLH510 vs Merlin_89: 97:112

First Game. I was warned by the results from the former rounds. So i started very defensively. I placed a farmer early as it was looking good for this farm. Merlin place a good counter farmer behind a hole fitting a cloister with a street. I got this easy 9 points so Merlin joined the farm. With 2 cloisters i joined another farmer but Merlin kept the pace (and opened another farm, i had to keep small :-) )
Then he blocked one of my meeples and build up a 4 tile City. So I focused on the 3rd farm as the first was a 3:3 tie. Merlin tried to join this too, but missed the tile. So I got the 12 points and the victory.

Second game: I was always behind. This time merlin started the farm. I missed to join a crap city with lots of pennants. Then i miscounted the straight roads so he could join my lovley 15 points farm. At the end I had 3 meeple and merlin 0 but i missed to score more points or join the farm again. So the game went away.

Nice games. Lets see what happens this round on the scoreboard.

Match 28: khalidqasrawi vs. glh510

Game 1: 69 - 92 (Home: GLH510)
Game 2: 118-102 (Home: kahildqasrawi)

In the first game khalid blocked 4 of my meeples. So i had to go all in for the big farm. I got all tiles he needed, so the farm was mine.
Second game both of us set there meeple very carefully. At the end i was behind so again i had to go for the main farm. 3 Tiles to go
i placed a perfect buy in. 2 out of 3 tiles suitable for me :-) Kahlid got the other tile. So both remaining tiles are good for me. Kahild managed
to set his tile in a way that he reduced my chances to a 50:50. I used all my luck in the first game ;-)  and drew the wrong one  :(n)

PS: Only screenshot of the first game.
