With a piece of walnut wood I had a craftsman near me make this beautiful object for the game.
The wood comes from my parents' Abbey and dates from the 12th or 13th century.
Dimension for those interested who would like to make some (in cm) 9.5x4.7 ép 0.9
with 3 scillons
good game

Bonjour Halfling

Hello Halfling
Thank you a little late on my part for the compliment.

The wood is almost petrified by age, I am almost certain that it dates back to the construction of the Abbey of Espagnac Saint Eulalie where my mother lives

The Abbey was built in 1279 and the trees that were felled for its construction were generally between 50 and 80 years old. They had to be large enough to be used to make beams and boards for floors, doors and shutters.

Before their use they were put to dry in water for ten years, which presupposes that this tree started to grow between 1200 and 1220 approximately
