I finally got my package from CundCo. No kidding, I ordered this on October 23rd and received it on January 20th (19th German time). That's just shy of three months! And just as a kicker, they forgot to give me my three Robber figures from the Carcassonne Mini. .:.sigh.:. Here I go again... I also apparently got as a freebie a Brown meeple pack, not realising I had ordered a Brown meeple pack already, so now the only "colour" I'm missing is Nude/Unpainted. I'm happy to have received the Star Wars Carcassonne finally, although my Star Wars fever has largely dissipated now. Andrew can finally get his copy.

No photos, since you all know exactly what they look like - but my School (yellow bag, green teacher) arrived today along with a Princess & Dragon and a Bridges, Castles & Bazaars. Two more items to land (both in the post - GQ11 & Phantom) and I'm done. If any rarities (or re-issues in old artwork) fall into my lap, I'll take them but I won't go specially hunting them now (Cathar/Siege/Besiegers; Tunnel)
Whatever it is, it's probably in the post from Germany...

That GQ expansion. Is it still easy to find or will I have to pay 'top dollar'?

So pleased to see that your package finally arrived whaleyland! After 3 months though, I'm surprised they didn't offer more by way of a freebie as a gesture of goodwill. A large voucher for your next order might have been more appropriate.

Anyway, hopefully Star Wars Carc will have been worth the wait. Enjoy! :)

When you lose, do not look at what you lost, but what's left to win ..

I broke into Paul's house at the weekend, and took this photo of his loft:

That might be the loft at his house... he has off-site storage too (I heard from a contact in the Swedish Navy that they rent part of it to store spare warships)

It doesn't take up that much space, really. Got plenty of cardboard boxes that are designed specifically for Carcassonne boxes, easy stackable tucked in the corner of the office.  :(y)

The other games, that I intend to play, I've removed the content from the boxes and store them in tackle boxes, workshop cases and various small (and stackable) storage boxes. The boards and instructions as well as any extra materials such as stickers and cloth bags are kept in portable filing organizers.

All the empty boxes, inlays and cardboard sheets are kept in large cardboard boxes in the basement. Drawback is don't get the beautiful sight of the board game collection. But that's the cost for saving on storage (and not money).  :@
