Title: Does any one else go into puzzle mode when playing solo?

 :red-meeple:

I set goals like largest city with all cloisters right side up etc.
I did this one a long time ago when traveling for work.

I do like to play Famine in Carcassonne, a solo variant where it's all about resource control.  Would like to do Visitors of Carcassonne, just need to get a River and Inns and Cathedrals, but I'm hashing out something for the former.

Hi jcardwell3rd, thanks for that great photo! It reminds me of the challenge that was set in the first newsletter (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=924) and some of the fun photos that followed.  :(y)

If you're looking for any other single-player challenges you could try either of these:

I started a few small "expansion puzzles". First, I tried to get all 18 tiles from "Hills & Sheep" in a grid of 6 rows and 3 columns, which was really trivial, although I aimed at a special goal: completing both cloisters and placing all vine yards adjacent to them. Have no camera with me, but one (of probably very many) solutions would be:
CFFC/RFCF/FCCF
FCRR/CFFC/CFCF
RRFR/FCRR/CCFC
FRCC/RFRR/FFCF
CFCC/RFRF/RFFF
CFCF/RRCF/FFRR

However, with "Bridges, Castles & Bazars" it was a bit more of a challenge. (Unless, you make just a row with 12 tiles or two rows with six.) I think it is the lack of FFRR and CCFF tiles, which really limits the possibilities. But after some thought, I found a solution. Can you find one, too? ;)
