Title: Christmas score card
Post by: cidervampire on December 21, 2017, 02:53:00 PM
Hi
Can anyone remember what the rules were for the Christmas scoreboard were that Cundco sold previously. I think you got some bonus points for landing on the presents

when you meeple on the scoreboard arrives or overstep the 6 or 24, you can play again (like the builder, or the dispatch from the messenger mini 2)

Does anyone know if they will be doing a reprint of this as I don't have one and my Carcassonne Addiction compels me to have it :).

It was never printed.

Kjw drew on some sellotape and they stuck it on a regular board.

I like the idea. Birthday score card: Every player gets an extra move if he lands on score card exactly on his birthday  :D

Seriously. He didnt even draw on the boards.  It was that sort of matt magic tape: That looks invisible...but really isnt.

Should add that most years cundco do a fundraiser. That was the purpose of these boards - they raised money for some charities.

That is the laziest thing I have ever heard!
The funny thing is I saw one going for 250 euros!

This wasn't being sold by HiG, it was being sold by one of the 150 who had bought it from Cundco.

Also here is the rules I got from CarcF but they are in German unfortunately.

I know, but surely someone wouldn't seek such a profit on an item that was created for a charitable donation?

...the times we live in....

These times are at least 150 years old:

"With adequate profit, capital is very bold. A certain 10 per cent. will ensure its employment anywhere; 20 per cent. certain will produce eagerness; 50 per cent., positive audacity; 100 per cent. will make it ready to trample on all human laws; 300 per cent., and there is not a crime at which it will scruple, nor a risk it will not run, even to the chance of its owner being hanged. ” (T. J. Dunning, l. c., pp. 35, 36.)

It wasn't a regular board - the regular back is missing, it's just white. Probably a misprint ...
