so far we play the game that a pig and builder get removed if there is no other meeple with them in the area.
also when you get another turn with the builder. do you immediately score 1 point if you placed the fairy?
also we played that you can only place the fairy next to scoring meeples. is this correct ?

1. Yes.
2. No, 1 Fairy point is scored only at the start of the whole turn, no matter how many additional turns player will have.
3. If scoring meeple = follower, then - yes.
-
with scoring meeple i mean things that have a power. and can score areas's
so the pig and builder wouldnt count.

Yes, and also shepherd and barn, as they are not followers either.

by these rules i think that the dragon cannot eat the pig and builder.
but i think we will house rule it. seems more fun to have the dragon kill anything it crosses.

Protection from the dragon and the meal plan of the dragon, those are 2 different things. According to the latest rulebook:
- the fairy can only protect 'followers' or better 'it protects everything on a single tile where 1 or more followers are standing on'
- but the dragon eats all that is flesh and blood...so no barns or towers, castles or bridges but builders, pigs, mage and witch, abbot, shepherd, mayor and even a wagon (the crew on the wagon is made of flesh and blood) or a phantom isn't safe for the almighty dragon.

See footnote 266:
If the tile placed completes both the shrine and the cloister, no one completed the building first, and both receive the points.
