::)

Well, I wasn't really expecting that as there could have been some other combinations for the last two tiles as well.

Yes in hindsight, they could have been in a different order and rotated in several ways. Obviously great minds think alike ..etc :)

I did consider a "double tile" solution, and actually suggested one in the first game (like mentioned before, a dumb one, because I misinterpreted the yellow meeples as indicating a wrong location), however I would have assumed, that no tile should be used more often then in a single Carcassonne Base game. So no problem with a code like this one, even 4x FRFR would be OK, but a solution with 3 CCFF splitter tiles or for example the CCCC twice would seem odd to me.

So for further rounds: are any solutions with multiple eqal tiles OK, or are there limited to what can be found in one base game box?

Attached to this post will insert a password protected zip archive, containing a sequence of four tiles in the basic game, they will be positioned according to the normal rules of placement. Road against roads, city against city, fields against fields.

Yes, that's how I interpreted the rules - a sequence of four tiles in the basic game.

A new puzzle? I'll kick this one off then (if there is one)...

I'd also like to claim the farm with my large meeple and take 4 points for the road my phantom. Thanks!

What does it mean if you don't get any coloured meeples under your guess? :'(

This was my score for the road. Sorry for any confusion.

I'm still waiting to see how closely my guess matches the target pattern, but you can see that nobody has edited my post to add any indicators to it.

I think Dan was going to say "4 points for Blue player" :D

danisthirty,
I think there is no new round.
We need a subforum. It is easier to have for each Carcassonne-Mastermind round an own topic.

And I don't think it is a great idea that all 72 tiles could be used.
I prefer to use only once one of the different 24 tiles. Some of the tiles are so often in the base game. All tiles has 4 directions...

And it is confusing that a tiles like the cross with 4 roads has also 4 directions here.
To solve such riddle is not easy - even if we can post only once or twice a day...

The following new forum area has been created:

Quizzes, Puzzles and Challenges: "Pit your wits against fellow Carcassonne Central members, test your problem-solving skills, make random guesses and maybe even win a prize or two in the process!"
