Congrats on your first Cundco orders!

Sounds like a nice set of expansions and playmaterial
If your tiles are bent, you can always contact cundco customer support. But as you're in Australia, it might be easier to try and flatten them under some books?

In terms of the school bag, it does not have any purpose in the game. I use them to store the schools I have, as well as having those little bags for storing meeple sets

I told Cundco to hurry up and make more meeple flags, so they are working on it.

You can see the progress here

News and Events / Re: Carcassonne Big Box with new tile format?

I've got several of them, from different publishers. The first wave released have the most errors, and the second wave has seen tiles corrected.

I wonder when the third wave will come with everything corrected

Please look to the example landscape picture - the pigs in green and red are placed onto a farm without a farmer meeple onto these farms.

I actually made a post about the 3(!) Versions of the big box that are known already.
You can find it here

There are some other that are less frequently seen, reserved for significant, and legendary members of the forum.

I've seen some here and there, some Legends and Founding Members; i think there are some very great Badges around!

New in this morning!
I contacted a company called The SuperHeatedNeurons, as they have an English/Arabic version of the C2 base game. Their communication was really great, and very quickly they shipped out the game to me!

Last week it did end up being delivered in Qatar, to the surprise of a nice lady who apparently didn't want it (maybe she wasn't so nice after all?)
Anyway, they quickly fixed it and today i received this:

And the back:

Interestingly the Abbots are referred to as the Lords, which i think it a great name for them :D

News and Events / New boxes for tile storage available on Cundco
« on: February 01, 2022, 04:01:34 PM »
I noticed today some new boxes available on Cundco.
Similar to the boxes we've seen before, but with updated graphics, similar to the latest big box:

I'll need to work on the homework and the what comes next, but i'll make Supervisor Nick happy by telling him my thoughts on the knowledge quiz

News and Events / Re: An Interview with Board Game Arena

Great interview, it's always nice to get a small idea from behind the scenes from places like BGA.
I was pushed to BGA by some people on the forum not too long ago, as it is indeed a great platform for playing online boardgames, and we have done several games nights almost exclusively on there, and i now basically always have some turn-based games going.

As there are many many games i don't know, this platform allows for easy learning and playing of the games. The games are almost playing themselves sometimes :P

Those are notorious for cracking.
I got one brand new a few years ago, and with moving house a few times and moving it around, the sides are already letting go. Tiles are still in seal, brand new, but the box looks worse than some older base games I've got!
Got a second one which was more used, but again the sides let go so easily

General / Re: Where were you in 2012?
« on: January 31, 2022, 10:43:30 AM »
In 2012 I hadn't heard of the game of Carcassonne, or the city of Carcassonne for that matter.
It was the year when I moved out from my parent's house and started playing more brazilian percussion (samba). I had already been doing that for some years, but at this point I was teaching and playing in several groups
