It's mainly an interesting biography about Klaus-Jürgen Wrede, and basically describes his games and the new book he's written. intermingled with some Carcassonne factoids.  The second article is mainly about Hans Im Gluck's involvement; from what I could tell it's mainly about how the family run the business; my German isn't anywhere near good enough to work out what's going on.
At the bottom is a section with Sebastian Trunz, he's a very prolific Carcassonne player.  He offers 5 tips:

1) Know all the Parts
2) Make your Opponent's life difficult
3) Where the Music Plays - E.g. Always know what's important
4) small animal makes a muckle!  eg: basically saying small cities are good, but big cities are necessary but easier to attack
5) There is no Bad Tile.

There's The last page of the article just lists all the great fan-articles, like earrings and cookie cutters, which you can now buy.

Thanks!  Merited.

My son is a big fan of Sebastian Trunz #2 tip.  He cost me a game last night with the Cathedrals from Inns and Cathedrals along with corn circles.  He spent so much time messing me up, his mother won easily.

Thanks Dirk, sorry I couldn't provide more interesting factoids.  The Spielbox HiG & Carcassonne Almanacs are another good read, they are older of a similar vein, I think you can download the English PDFs from their site.

Think now you can shout: "Mach deinem Gegner das Leben schwer!" in German at him every time he does it  :(y)

Don't know if anyone asked this yet, but... (how) does this thing score at all if incomplete at the end of the game?

  • To play or not to play... that is the question!

I'm really liking the conversation that one tile has created! It's also a great new extra, especially for MegaCarc games. Will there be a CAR edit with this in soon? Or will this simply be an in-house ruling decision?
If only I had another Halfling.....
