I recommend getting in there quickly as these tiles never stick around for very long and are notoriously difficult to get hold of after the event!

I expect they re-release the WE... There you have one little excuse.
My hopes are there will also be to mini expansions (one re-released and one new) and probably a large expansion.... or maybe next year with a new Big Box... ;)

Probably no more than a few Euros, but shipping is usually expensive from Cundco (depending on where you live). Many of us like to wait until the new Spiel tile becomes available before placing a big order so that the cost of the postage doesn't seem so bad for a single tile!

In previous years (in early December), they HiG allowed you to add the tile to your cart for €0,01 associated to an order above €20 or so... They were "selling" the remaining promo tiles from the Essen gaming fair taking place in late October. Now the event has to be digital, so they need a new plan aligned with the established tradition... ^-^

The surprise is that later, people resell them from 10€ onwards getting more expensive by the year... Moreover, you can find people selling Spiel 14 tiles for 85€ on eBay to say the least. (I just checked on eBay after writing this line, so look) :o

Let's hope it's the same now, and we indeed don't need to pay those eBay prices!
I guess the '14 and '15 tiles were a smaller print batch? So not as widely available.

This will be the finishing touch to my "a standard base game box with as many expansions squeezed in as possible" collection!
As many others have said, it is beautiful!
If they apply the previous €20 order minimum I may struggle though ...
Also, I take it there is a strict one per customer limit?
I wonder if they'll actually sell them for more than the usual amount (which I think I read was €0.01 with a qualifying order?) simply because, unlike giving them away at Spiele there is no great promotional benefit to putting them in the hands of existing owners/collectors?

The €0.01 price tag is maybe due to the impossibility of selling something for €0 at Cundco.de... You can see this too in the free downloads available. :o

No, they list the items. But you cannot buy them. They are not available, but they write in the description that you can download it. :)

They probably won't sell out within hours, but you might want to make sure you get in there today at some point.

Bumsakalaka isn’t crazy. Their website definitely said 15 Euros minimum. However their website did go down for a few minutes and now it says 20 Euros. Now I’m concerned about the order I put in. I was only interested in the Halflings, German Cathedrals and the SPIEL tile which on their own wasn’t enough so I tossed in two meeple sets. Enough to get to 15 but not 20. ????

I had still opened cundco.de and you can see, it was written 15 EUR. My order was arround 22 EUR, so I can't prove that it was working or not with 15 EUR limit.

I wonder if they include the shipping cost in the 20 euros or not ...
Anyway, when I placed my order it was 15euros minimum ...

I don't think it lets you complete any orders including the Spiel 20 tile if your order didn't satisfy the minimum at the time, whether €15 or €20. So if your order was completed and included the tile then you should still get it. Changing it afterwards shouldn't affect any previous orders.

Don't forget to actually add the tile to your order. It isn't automatically added for placing a +20 Euro order.

You don't want the new German Cathedrals?
You can also fill up the order with 50-100 points tiles, extra ones are always necesary, or different colored meeple sets, or a set of boxes to store the minis.

CundCo were very quick to respond to my email asking when they would be available again - they can be ordered again. But I must email them and see if I can order more than 20 sheets - I even tried adding 20 sheets several times but with no luck.

The international shipping from Cundco pains me. For two maps that really should be folded rather than rolled, four mini expansions (I accidentally ordered Halfings twice), and a Spiel tile, the cost of shipping to New Zealand is over €45! Even without the maps, it's over €29. That's just ridiculous. And I had been hoping to buy the new Winter-Edition but apparently that's still not available, which is extra disappointing.

Yes that's right. The Labyrinth. I have one but choose only to use the new edition tile (C2) since that matches the rest of my collection. I'd like just two more new edition Labyrinth tiles as I think games with two or three labyrinths would be fun.

Partially why I haven't bought the maps yet, but I'm running out of choices to buy for next year. I'd hate to see them folded, but it is practical and cheaper.

Well I ordered mine. The only thing new to me was the toll-keepers. I even got myself some Winter Crop Circles even though I don't have the Winter Edition. Maybe I'll trade it away someday.
As for the maps, there is no way I am paying to have those shipped. My city didn't make the cut, which is expected. I do enjoy that everything south of Jacksonville doesn't exist. They should have just removed Florida all together. Rising sea levels are going to wipe most of it off the map anyway.

I'm in. Very pleased to add this beautiful tile as the seal on my Carcassonne collection.
Picked up a Tower, my precious new edition labyrinths and a couple of other minis that I don't really need and will probably sell on at cost to cover the delivery.

That's kind of logical imo.
They said it would be available during Spiel. Spiel would last from 22nd to the 25th.
Maybe they waited with removal until the American 25th was over or they removed it when they were at work.
I hope the best for you, for all the people who didnt get it.
Good luck with getting it at the advent sale, otherwise Ebay isn't a fun place to go for youre wallet.

Glad I got mine in time. I don't own any of the previous years' special tiles since they're very expensive and not a single one of them has an unique design, but this year's does. No other tile has that configuration.

But other do have a unique configuration (not all of them but, some). Though I agree that this one seems special.

2014 to 2017 all have a very generic tile configuration.
The 2018 one is a 4 roads with no intersection tile, it exists in the expansion 7 (Catapult) and a similar one with 3 roads in expansion 5.
The 2019 one exists in expansion 9, except it has a bridge but it's just decorative, it does not connect the 2 city segments, no gates are shown. If it was meant to connect, the artwork for it was poorly done then. Also connecting them would take away everything that is special about this tile. Its design is meant to be 2 separate cities in one tile that can later be combined at the top, it's great for stealing cities.

I'm sorry if I burst your bubble of bliss. The HiG representatives at Essen'19 told Murphy013 the bridge was connecting both city segments. Nothing but a nice tile in my humble opinion, since it is actually a regular CCCR tile with no extra tactical possibilities. It was reported here:

There are two field segments spanning under the overpass. The scenes featured are just decorative and have no special rules. i have a dubt,how many field there are in this spiel?i read the rule,but maybe understand that there are only 2 field to put farmer?or 4 field?

There are two field segments, one on each side of the road running from left to right:

The field segments continue under the city overpass in a similar way to what happens with the large bridge on this River II tile:

This large bridge does not split the field segments. There are two fields - one eastward and one westward.

Usually late November/ early December although stock doesn't last for very long.

I'm sure KJW would be very happy with either interpretation since there isn't an official ruling to go with...

It's been pointed out that it would be better to split the posts about the 2016 tile into a thread of their own and leave this thread open for those who want to continue discussing the 2020 tile. While it can be a little time-consuming identifying all of the posts to move in order to preserve the flow of the conversation, I've created a new thread - Spiel 2016: To Farm Or Not To Farm (that is the question) (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4856) - so that the pointless argument conversation can continue there without impacting the 2020 thread. Please keep future posts on both threads to the point and let's remember to respect each others' opinions even if we don't always agree with them! C:-)

Question... I got a tile during their SPIEL digital sale so would I then be able to get a tile during their new Advent sale? I know the “rules” say one tile per person / address but do the rules carry over from one sale to the next? I suppose no one may truly know as these are unprecedented circumstances.

I doubt they have kept the list from the Spiel sale and compare the addresses, but who knows :P

I haven't gotten too, still waiting. But I guess that because I'm actually in Brazil it may take some extra time.
