If anyone, by chance, see English rules I would be grateful.

Hope this helps.

There are aides you can download from boardgamegeek.com if it helps. Could not find any English rules. These aides has setup, turn summary, how the game ends etc.

Let me know if you are not able to download them (have to be a member there) I can mail the files. Already downloaded them to check content myself.

Thanks Paul, I'm very active on BGG and did see the rules summary. This is helpful and should help me decipher play. It would be nice to have the actual rules that shouldn't be so hard to come by especially with an existing (but out of print) English edition.

I will keep looking and appreciate the community support with the search  :yellow-meeple:

Yep. The English version of the game is called Age of Discovery but, as with many titles these days, there are several similar titles (even in the board game genre itself) which makes things a bit difficult finding the right game and the right topic for it.

UPDATE on English rule search: possible success. I posted on the Thrift pages of BGG and a kind soul there has offered a scan. Hopefully there is follow through!

Thanks to Decar and Paul with helping on the search!

I got a phone call today to confirm an order. Seems I will be getting Age of Discovery (English version) early next week.

I was very happy to received a pdf of the rules this morning from a separate user than the one indicated above.

Since your getting this as well Paul, we can compare notes and thoughts on the game.

Cheers,

So I got the game in the mail today which was a nice surprise. They shipped it only yesterday. Sweet!

Naturally I opened box to check content and to my surprise, this is not a tile laying game.  ::) Funny thing is, the store called me to confirm that I ordered the right game as there are 3 different games with this name in it (that we know of).
But, a game is a game, if we try it at least once I'm happy! Besides, this was probably that last copy in any official store out there in Europe.  8)
