Title: Flyers and Ferries
Post by: robnhill on November 08, 2018, 09:43:48 PM
Hi there,

Quick question: Can you fly a flyer onto a previously completed road with a ferry (or lake)? Would that mean the meeple would score right away ? Example: there's a completed road that leads to a 'lake' worth 10 points that someone (or myself) scored earlier); I fly my meeple onto it. Do I score 10 points right away again?

Or, can you not fly the meeple onto it because it's already a completed feature?

You can only fly onto an unoccupied, uncompleted feature, so you can't fly onto the road that's already finished

You can never fly onto a completed feature. But if a Road with a Ferry is currently incomplete because of the movement of the Ferry, then you can claim that feature because it is not complete (even if somebody scored that Road previously due to a different Ferry configuration). You cannot score for the Road this turn unless you also extended the Road that the Ferry is a part of, in which case you can move said Ferry, potentially closing the Road.
