Sorry, this will have been asked already but I can't find it. Does the power of the hill in the field on the right effect the field on the left in regards to farming, if the field on the left side of the road is never joined to the field on the right-hand side?

Hi, I hope someone out there can help me. Does anyone have the Fan modified RIVER tile with the spring, the house and the 3 roads, already sized and ready to be printed? If the artist/creator is out there, what's your name? I really like what you've done to the original tile. The 3 roads are a great addition, I know it's gonna make a couple of my players happy, I can't wait to play with it. ...Nebus

True, true... I will be playing it the way you've suggested, it make sense! Now, I love Carcassonne, out of all of my games it's still my favorite so please don't think I'm bad mouthing Klaus-Jürgen Wrede or his creative team BUT I wish they wouldn't re-use vocabulary, it just seems so lazy. It's no big issue and nothing to sweat about, I understand that "Castles" from Castles, Bridges & Bazaars is different to "Castles in Germany" and so there's no real confusion in regards to rules BUT there are so many other words that could have been used. Off the top of my head I've got Stronghold, Fort, Fortification, Fortress...But I'm sure a Google search would throw up loads of possibilities...

Thanks for your opinions guys! While I kind of agree with both of you, a small part of me is torn... Castles in Germany are in no way related to Castles from Bridges, Castles and Bazaars BUT they are called Castles, and at the end of the game Farms score points for every City and Castle they are connected to... I'd love to know what the official ruling is on the matter.

Hi, Quick question... In regards to German Castles The CarC 7.4 states... There is no mention in the rules regarding effects of the castles on scoring of farms. Thus, it seems that the Castles in Germany do not produce points for farms in the same way that castles from Bridges, Castles, & Bazaars do, but this would have to be confirmed. (4/2015) Could anyone let me know if this has been confirmed?

Welcome! Awesome time-lapse, thanks for posting! 7 hours of Carc to end in a tie... That calls for a rematch!

It's hard to say which I played first but growing up we had Ghost Castle, which was awesome at the time, although very simple and totally luck based. We also had chess, draughts, Monopoly, Going for Broke, the Game of Life. And then on the greatest Christmas morning ever I was given HeroQuest! I played this game so many times, I love it.

Sounds like an awesome game! How did you find Meeple management? You played with a lot more meeples than we normally play with so I was wondering how it played... Did you always have some Meeples in your supply or did you find yourself having to be careful?

IMO It's not very good! I followed a different path, one where I would be playing with kids and it suggested Sorry!Carcassonne is great to play with kids. Kids pick it up faster than us oldies!

This just sounds wrong! How can you win both games and only get 4th? - craziness! Write a letter to the organizers and maybe they will revise the rules before next years tournament.
