Title: Not able to place Tile

I have Tile CCCR with Monastery.
I have nice place under starting tile wind rose, but... ;-(

Hi Bumsakalaka,

That is not an bug. It is a placement constraint so that the monastery cannot be next to more than one shrine (there are two at that particular spot) and vice versa. The rules don't allow it in order to avoid the participation of one monastery or shrine in more than one challenge at the same time.

Understood.
In this case there is other bug, because in previous game it was possible to place monastery CCCC next to shrine.

Anyway, that AI sometimes make me crazy ;-D I'm not counter of tiles. But It seems, I'd have to be :D

Hi Bumsakalaka,

There is a difference in this. It is possible to lay a monastery next to a shrine or other way around. Then they go into a battle against each other. The one that has been completed first wins, the other will lose then!

It is not possible to lay a monastery tile to two or more adjacent shrines OR lay a shrine tile to two or more adjacent monasteries. This is because of the above explained duel. There may only be a 1 vs 1 duel between those two.

Hope that makes it easier to understand?

Ah. I'm only playing this feature in jCloisterZone, because I wanted to buy Expansion 6, but there are miss printed tiles in Czech/Slovak version of C2. This year had to be published new version also with lighter cities, so not very familiar with rules ;-)

Thanks for helping. This combat 1:1 looks nice. I think I'll like it.

Be careful, if you mix it with the dragon, towers, the festival or even the abbot, you challenges may be interrupted...

Then you can restart them with magic portals or flying machines.

Just saying...  ;)

Yes, I Think Flying machines is starting to be necessary expansion for each game ;-)
