Wir nehmen das 20-jährige Jubiläum von Carcassonne zum Anlass eine wichtige Änderung vorzunehmen. Die Carcassonne Rückseite ist mittlerweile etwas veraltet und aus unserer Seite etwas Farblos.
Deshalb stellen wir euch heute das neue Design vor.
Beginnend mit der Jubiläumsausgabe werden alle folgenden Grundspiele, Erweiterungen und Mini-Erweiterungen ab August 2021 mit der neuen Rückseite produziert.
English translation:
We take the 20th anniversary of Carcassonne as an opportunity to make an important change. The Carcassonne backside is a bit outdated and from our side a bit colorless.
That's why we present you the new design today.
Starting with the anniversary edition, all following basic games, expansions and mini-expansions will be produced with the new back from August 2021.

For anyone who doesn't want to buy all the expansions with the new backs, or who want to combine the 20th anniversary edition with earlier editions, they will be releasing special tile sleeves.
Looks like they will have the old backs showing, so you can mix!

So this years Spiel tile? Will it already have been printed? Or will it come with the new back? Or a choice of backs? Perhaps it will come like Labyrinth, as a pair one for each?
How long will it take till all C2 expansions and minis available with new backs?
This just leaves me with so many questions!

Making obvious jokes is a way to make people talk about something, and to have a little fun. A lot of manufacturers, medias, resellers...etc are making such jokes on april the 1st...

Chillax dude. O0 I fell for it for about five minutes, and found it pretty funny when I realised that it didn't make sense for so many reasons.
That's what April Fools Day is all about, and that's one of the better jokes I've seen in the last few years. Calling it "very unprofessional" is unnecessarily harsh imho O:-)

I don't understand. Might you use some different words or otherwise define this? I don't mean to disrespect or otherwise annoy, I just don't understand and would like to share in your thought as your prior input is often valuable, in my opinion. - :pink-meeple:

DIN0 may refer to the bonus tiles in Hunter and Gatherers featuring a different back than the other tiles in the game.
In Carcassonne, you have the Message tiles with different backs in Mini #2 - The Messages, for example.
