According to CAR Abbot placement on a German Monastery should be legal, even if it is already surrounded by 8 tiles. Jungleboy tried this on two occasions in our weekly online game, once by flier, once per magic portal, and it did not work. Also, I could not move in a wagon as an abbot (only as a monk, since this GM was not completed as a "cloister" yet), after finishing a road with it. According to footnote 503 (with globe icon), this should be a legal move as well.

I agree with the first part (footnote 505), but the second part is based on footnote with globe symbol (Interpretations and clarifications of the rules that come from the CarcassonneCentral community), so it is not official. I am not sure wagon could be legal abbot.

That's exactly, why I mentioned, that it has a globe icon. Still, there had been arguing, that any follower is a follower to any aspect other than the special abilities coming with it. (Likewise a wagon driver or mayor can be seduced by a princess.) So, if a "regular" follower can be placed as an abbot or monk and a wagon (unlike a mayor) can be placed as a monk, I really see no point, why a wagon should not possible be an abbot. Especially because the official flier rule makes clear, that abbot placement is actually possible rounds after the initial placement of a tile.

I am not sure wagon could be legal abbot.
But if it's legal should it be placed this way? :)
(This is quite an unstable position for a wagon, it stayed so only for my third attempt.)

ok, fixed and immediately added to today's fresh 3.2.0 :)
but I am really praying to not cause some issue with this as hoc fix :)

farin - did you just release a second version of 3.2.0, but with exactly the same version number?
Seriously?
