Hello all,
My feeling is that its been a really long time since any new promo or expansion came out.. (burgen in germany?)
Okay besides carcassonne 2 and spin-offs, we haven't heard of anything new quite a while for the regular carcassonne. Even in Essen nothing new is coming..
Do you guys (and ladies) think something new will come?
I'm refreshing the unread posts, watching a close eye on cundco.. but just nothing.. no news or info at all?
Whats happened with the Spanish cloisters? The burgen for other countrys. a possible spielbox expansion?

This time no Spielbox expansion.
There will be a mini expansion in the advent calendar for the winter-edition.
And really the Spiel 2015 starts next week. So please wait - more information we will get in around 10 days.

Normally we already had information, if there would be a new expansion.
and the advent calendar still is for a spin-off. i like it but its just too expensive..
You once were talking about a possible compilation of the spielbox expansion, do you have any info on that?

I generally disagree with this sentiment. Castles in Germany is from this year, and we also have Über Stock und Stein and Star Wars coming out. We also have the Winter-Edition expansion in the Advent Calendar (which should be available on Cundco in the future, I believe). Yes, it would be nice to get another large expansion, but those have been less consistent in recent years. There was a four-year gap between Bridges, Castles & Bazaars and Hills & Sheep, which just released last year. I think they're sticking to their game, especially if you count any of the Carc2.0 products (which I don't, but it still takes time for them to update the graphics, rules, and packaging).
I imagine that Spielfest will reveal something new, but it won't be anything too big since there are already two spin-offs for this year. Maybe a new promo, maybe Dutch/French/Spanish castles or monasteries. Who knows?
