I just stumbled upon a very favourably priced Carcassonne Winter Edition (€ 20) including those 12 additional tiles with (mythical) animals on them :)). I was quite surprised to find out that it also included the small Gingerbread Man Expansion (although the rules for this expansion weren't included — luckily I already bought the mini expansion from CundCo some time ago, so I have the rules in German) :gray-meeple:

There also appears to be some weird mythical beast

Mythical beast? They're quite common here in the Netherlands (and I guess in Germany as well) :))

[Edit] Changed the second tile to the one without animal on it :gray-meeple:

Thanks for organising this again Quevy :gray-meeple:. However, I think it would make more sense to consider the pairs as teams. Together they try to guess the correct sequence of tiles (as well as their orientations). So instead of "vs" I'd use "+". The team with the lowest number of guesses would then be the winning team, the person with — on average — the lowest number of guesses, based on the teams he/she was in, would be the winner of the tournament. Does that make sense? :))

Me too ^-^. Suggestion, perhaps we could play Team vs Team? The ones to solve their puzzle using the least amount of moves/guesses wins :gray-meeple:

Both earn ½ a point :gray-meeple:

TBH: I think I spent way too long working out the binary-trees for tiles.

I suggest Ailurus goes again but also include tiles from:  Inns & Cathedrals , Traders & Builders

Perhaps sometime this weekend, I'm off now.
