What If? and I played our games earlier this afternoon. He won the first, dominated by a few big cities (as starting player) and took the picture of this one. Second one was quite different with small cities and two main farms. Luckily I managed to tie the smaller farm and win the bigger one (they were only 15 and 12 points anyway, with What If getting a 3 city farm), and this decided the close game for me 99:91.
"luckily" he says, but I thought he was being almost crazy for getting my last farmer in and then with an almost perfect block tile given to me he needed the last RRRF-tile, and got it! The chance he took, and it was decisive, was to actually give away a good farm in order to avoid a tie in the biggest field and then come back in. One of the sweetest moves I´ve had against me, and decisive and towards the end as it should be. If you want to see, check the southeastern red and green farmer in Hounks much nicer picture above. Hounk (green) glomed the red on to the smaller farm with the bent road tile above and gave red majority with one chance only to being able to get back himself via the RRRF tile. I´m still in schock. First game was decided by one nice defensive move by me saving two meeples being killed in one city and then I had the nicest possible distribution of tiles in quite the right moments.  Both games really nice.

Interesting, interesting. So you sat at home and thought: "What if - I play a solo mega carc?!" 
Maybe I will give it a try too. Placing a farmer on the barn field every second turn in the lat game?
Yes, they are nice if you can pop 200p a farmer+pig!

your Report about your Mega-Carc is great. I hope you enjoyed the game.
What is about the cat? How did you managed you all the time that the cat can't visit and destroy the game?
That is a good question! My cats are given the boxes to sleep in when we play, but overnight? Share the secret!

Wish 1: This will never happen, but but. The official mini-mega carcassonne!
It means scrapping all old tile layout distribution within expansions and instead choose them out of what is most playable within, say, 128 tiles. Every tile should have at least one (1) feature from all, yes ALL, previous expansions distributed among them in a suitable manner.
Wish 2: Cundco finally starts a print-on-demand service.
Prediction 1 (and I have it from a very trustworthy source): Next mini-expansion will be "German Spacemonkeys"!

I would really, really come to this magical place where things can sell out, re-appear, sell out again and re-appear again. In case the mage living there could be so nice as to find some copies of kathars/balagerer and tunnels also, I´m sure it´s worth printing looking in the back of the wonder closet for these. Please?

Challenge accepted! Yesterday, I had a go myself. The only thing I couldn't find, is to place those "little buildings expansion".
Anyway, I got myself 5399 points in the end.
So, it's your turn again... 
So instead of spending my day home from work doing, well things, I did this  8229. Enjoy your evening! edit: I of course keep the basic cloisters in the game!

I can´t make them function either. I don´t think I´ll play one again soon, but getting those 120p farmers was quite nice of course.

Great post What If?+1 merit from me.
I've not tried it with all the expansions, although I did once make 4 AI players play each other with all of the expansions they can do. This is nothing compared to Decar's 10k tile game though...
Looking forward to seeing how the scores grow with time! Did you take advantage of the Wind Roses bug at all?
Is it a bug? I thought it was a feature

So I tried to play a solo mega carc on JCZ with everything, except little buildings as I can´t seem to make it work. I am sure I am not the only one wasting an hour like this, and as I couldn´t find a thread on this I will let this be the unofficial record thread for mega solo carc, ok? Match 49, Set 1. WhatIf-KhalidQ 81-78 Strange game where few cities were finished, so no farmers developed until very late in the game. WhatIfs farmer meeple gave two more small cities in the end and decided the game. After KhalidQ unchallenged took the city in the SE corner, I thought the game was lost. I was utterly surprised by winning.

Hello all!
I have unplayed minis 1,3,4,5,6 (I can get nr 2 if you want, but you probably don´t), Catapult and GQ11.
I would like the same as most people do, Cathars, Siege and Tunnels. Spiel-tiles could be interesting too.
Swapping is nice and I have a fair amount of meeples in most colours, extra trade good tokens and trade good bits, barrels and such. I could also part with the festival box without the festival tiles themselves if anyone would like it in exchange (ie, the meeples, score board etc).
Keep playing!
Edit: I also found the spielbox cult and phantom, both unplayed.
Edit 2, May 26th: I could also get some old art expansion boxes like the dragon, the tower, the catapult, phatnom, abbey and mayor and such in the unlikely case that someone who has an extra set of tunnels need these...

I haven´t tried it, but it sounds more terrible than fantastic. The change is too great and it seems to punish daring players more, I see no redeeming feature, what is the pro-argument?

Hello!
I see that you already bought the big box, careful, next thing you know you will be driving to Scotland due to a rumour that there are two copies of the Cathar expansion at a second hand book store somewhere. After discovering that they sold them two weeks ago you sit in the car cursing your stupidity whilst creating an account for german e-bay and then there is no turning back.
