Ok! You're on...
Sorry Adrornalin but our home internet appears to be knackered and I can't get either of the laptops online.
Can we postpone? My phone is the only thing that's working at the moment!
-
Yes sure.
Next possibility from my side would be tomorrow around midday and on the weekend.
But first get your laptops back online.
-
There is actually a chance I may still be on for this evening (see below). Will let you know here if things work out...
-
I hope the engineer had an understanding wife/ husband... :(
-
Mhh..so you need some patience. Damn.
Then lets play on the weekend?!
-
MrNumbers vs. GLH510
103:97
108:73
Two fast games, we both miscounted some tiles in both games, but in both games I was able to win the main farm and secured the victory.
-
When are you around for a game TheSteveAllen?
-
Mhh..so you need some patience. Damn.
Then lets play on the weekend?!
Are you free this evening?
-
Should be, yes. 8-9pm your time is possible. So I will idle in chatroom later.
Edit: Ready when you are. Idling in the irc chat.
-
I just tried talking to you in the chat room but you've just signed out. Will connect again.

Game 1
What If? :black1-meeple: 99 (start player)
Rich_The_Fish :red-meeple: 100
Wow, what a tense and close game. I was a bit surprised when I saw the score - I thought What If? had managed to score enough points near the end to clinch it. I'm pretty tired, so will just leave the screenshots up for now and do a write up another night.
Thanks very much for playing What If?
-
Game 1:
Dan :blue-meeple: 128
Adror :yellow-meeple: 100 (starting player)
Game 2:
Adror :yellow-meeple: 83
Dan :blue-meeple: 73 (starting player)
Two good fun games. The second was more intense than the first and was decided mostly by the order of the last 2 tiles! I certainly enjoyed more than my fair share of luck elsewhere though and felt overall that a tie was deserved.
Well played Adror and thanks for the games!
-
The second game became all about the gigantic city claiming 4 meeples each and growing. Rich was out of meeples when the CCCC-tile was drawn by me and the only playable option was to complete the city thus sharing the city and releasing meeples. Then it becae a farming game, but in the end the decisive point difference came from roads, strange.
What If :black1-meeple:-RichtheFish :red-meeple: 125-108
Roads 25-3
Cities 72-73
Cloisters 7-8
Farms 21-21

Game 1
Jéré :yellow-meeple: 88 (Starting player)
Khalid :red-meeple: 73
Game 2
Khalid :red-meeple: 87 (Starting player)
Jéré :yellow-meeple: 90
Won both games but it was not a walk in the park. Khalid is a top player and played very well. Somehow I managed to trap at least one of his guys in both games and it got more difficult for him to fight for the fields: A big one in the first game, several scattered fields in the second. Khalid would have won if he would have joined the large city...
-
After short break from The League...
103 :yellow-meeple: Merlin_89 (Home) - Leven :violet-meeple: 88
64 :violet-meeple: Leven (Home) - Merlin_89 :yellow-meeple: 85
Two very similar, highly strategic and defensive games. For most of the time, we were stuck in our positions, we kept our distance... But it favoured me, because both times, I managed to score early lead, that I was focused to keep with me to the end.
Very tense match. Leven left me no room for mistakes. Thanks for that.
-
Sounds like there was a lot of pressure! Well played to both of you and thanks for making time for your match.
-
1st game played......next starts in 5 minutes....TheSteveAllen started game 1.
Tense, Tense, Tense.
2nd game now added too
-
Thanks everyone! I think that's all the matches played now although still waiting for the result of Rosco vs. Chooselove which was apparently a tie. Need to know scores though so please post screenshots when you can Rosco!
Also, we have our first finisher who finishes a round ahead of everyone else as it is his sitting out round in round 15. Congratulations Rich_The_Fish - I hope you have enjoyed the tournament and would consider joining something similar if it runs again? Well done, and thanks for taking part...
-
CRAP! I just realised that the only participant I haven't played yet is What If... and I'm in Sweden right now for a 2-week business trip and this weekend I had nothing to do!! Missed a good opportunity to play in person! :(
-
just posted in the wrong place - sorry for delay!
-
Cheers dude. Final round coming right up...
-
The final round is now live! :) :(y)

Still open as any one of 3 people could possibly finish up on top (perhaps unlikely but still mathematically possible in at least 1 case)
