The English copies are extremely low, but I believe there are still a good lot of German copies. We're waiting on our last shipment from them for the Plague, Windroses, and the upcoming release

The half tiles will definitely be interesting! Although there will be two sets, I think these would be fun with more of them available.

Does anyone know, if the Spielbox version will be different from the Cundco version?

Like, just an mini icon difference or totally different layout on the tiles?

For example, I don't understsnd the difference between windrose 1 and windrose 2..

One has more tiles than the other (I think) but other than that, aren't they the same? $:-\$

Same tile count. The original has letters beside all four points of the compass while the Spielbox version only has letters at the top and bottom. That was probably done because West and East start with different letters in Germany than other countries. North and South are mostly the same.

The tiles will be different, not only because of the icon.

The tiles and the rules are a bit different.
Please look in the CAR v7,02 pages 158-160.

I've called with Spielbox - Barbara Nostheide:

The Spielbox version has the typical watermark icon. And the CundCo Shop version has their own watermark icon.

The landscape tiles from Spielbox and CundCo Shop are different. The rules are the same.

That means 12 triangle tiles from Spielbox and 12 triangle tiles from CundCo = 24 triangle tiles.

CundCo starts with this at Spiel in Essen after the exhibition you can find the new mini in their online Shop.

I find it frustrating that to get this I would have to separately purchase both, each from a different foreign vendor. perhaps if Carcassonne Shop can make both halves of half and half available as a single purchase I would consider it.

My understanding is that you wouldn't have to get both sets unless the completionist in you means you're determined to own absolutely everything. I think it would still be perfectly playable just by getting one or the other.

A half and half is a mix of beers. If you do not mix, then there is only "half".
