WTB: spin-offs and expansions in Canada
« on: January 20, 2016, 02:46:22 PM »
hey folks! I recently picked up Abbey & Mayor, and Bridges, Castles and Bazaars. thanks to all on here who helped me find these!

Now I'm looking for things like South Seas, Hunters and Gatherers, New World, etc.  If you happen to have any of these or any expansions (minis, Magazine inserts, etc),  feel free to PM me or reply in this thread to make an offer.

Thanks!  :yellow-meeple:

I can acquire both but these would be the Scandinavian release without the English rules. Abbey and Mayor there are plenty. Castles, Bridges and Bazaar may still be obtainable. Both for 16,75 CAD each.

Depending on weight, total including shipping would be:
500 grams = 53 CAD
1000 grams = 70 CAD

Depending on country, this might be toll free but you would know more about the value limit than me. :)

Both are currently available from Cundco:
Postage might be pricey, but it's a good option if you don't have anything else to fall back on.

Good luck!

I just checked - the shipping would be €24.95 on those items being in your basket for shipment to Canada (so you know)
Whatever it is, it's probably in the post from Germany...

Yes, unfortunately Cundco's shipping costs have always been the thorn in the side of the Carcassonne players outside of Germany. Hopefully someone else will be able to find something more affordable...

Paying more for postage than the item is hurts for sure - but better to do that than not get the item at all (probably).

Oh how I wish shipping from Europe wasn't so expensive.  It's very kind of you folks to be helping me.   :yellow-meeple:

I am keeping an eye on BGG (as usual).

If anyone from North America has either of these, please PM me or post on here.   Many thanks!

EDIT: wow, it seems that shipping a medium-size flat-rate box from the U.S. costs 46 USD (42 €)!  Shipping from Europe may actually be cheaper!  This is blowing my fragile little mind.  Maybe I will re-examine Cundco.

RE-EDIT:  I will keep this thread open until I throw the money down for these.  If you have these please feel free to contact me.
