Misprinted Tiles

I wasn't sure where else to print this, but today I opened a brand new box of new-artwork tiles from Z-man.

Firstly I noticed the print quality was far below what I'd received from HiG; all of the artwork was slightly blurry.

Take a look:

I was quite surprised at the difference in quality.  It's probably hard to see but the bottom tile you can see the linen and the brick work is far less visible than the tower on the tile above.  It's also hard to see but the greens are far less vivid in the lower tile, leaving for less variety.

Given the print quality I'm not really surprised there have been so many complaints about the artwork; it's just been poorly produced and cheaply printed.

Then I got to the River Tiles Palette - It was printed back-to-front!

None of the other palettes are affected.

I just thought I'd share this anomaly with you and obviously ask if anyone else has had similar happen in their Carcassonne boxes.  Especially in the new art work!

My Carc2 tiles from Z-man were also printed off register, but for normal play we overlook it. Just when I scan and view at 600dpi that I get annoyed. I've seen some of the Carc2.1 tiles from HiG and they were fine, but don't know if I can be bothered getting them all replaced.
