I wonder how these will be different from the regular monasteries (cloisters).

It is very exciting that HiG continues to suppor this game with expansions and mini-expansions. It keeps the game very dynamic with public market exposure!

This is exciting news. I can't wait to get the German Monasteries. i'll need to get one set for my collection and one set for my nephew, who also loves Carcassonne. I hope it will be available for those of us around the world who are NOT able to go to the Carcassonne fan event!

How do the new tiles look?
-
Yay! Another small expansion. I've been slowly getting back into Carcassonne again, playing just two days ago with my sister and brother-in-law. I got my sister Abbey & Mayor for her birthday and she loved it. Definitely one of the best expansions out there. I also am probably going to get the German Hills & Sheep expansion before it releases in the US. The four months' wait is killing me!

How do the new tiles look?
Hi SRBO,
I met Udo Schmitz (Carcassonne-on-Tour) some weeks ago. He described to me the new coming tiles...
And what Udo told me was very interesting...

I am also debating with myself on this...the shipping costs are more than the cost of the expansion. I don't know if I can get past that. :(
-
Costs are cheaper if you use Amazon.de. Not twice the price, though still not cheap. Retail for the expansion is $17.99.

One of the constests was to hold the glass of meeple beer as long as possible.
I am not sure how does the meeple beer taste...
The CoT-car:
Carcassonne-on-Tour has an own car...
The Flower-Meeple:
There are two flower meeple: white and violet...
