There are 40 meeples in the Carcassonne basic game.

Solution:
Over 14.3 million meeples were produced in 2012.

HiG teaches the Dutch in German

Hans im Glueck macht Schule (http://www.hans-im-glueck.de/news/newsdetails/news/hans_im_glueck_macht_schule/)

Translation by bing translator:

"A few weeks ago, the project launched by Robert Pilon in "Play for fun" took place on the school Christelijk Lyceum in the Dutch Veenendaal. HiG was there too. The project is part of the German lessons at this school. The students should learn games together on the basis of the German rules and then taught to her classmates. As a result, active and passive language understanding and communication are trained in one turn.

And then's is also played. Fun after all! We find this a very innovative and worth supporting form of language teaching. Maybe this idea is even widespread in German schools."

In the photo you can see Georg Wild (HiG) as a teacher.

Yes, I would be glad, if the Germans could learn English or French, as the Dutch at school learn German.
But I am not sure if the English rule of Carcassonne (it's a German game) is the best way to learn English...

Hans explores the family history of the Carcassonne family members.
He studied their pedigree and wonders now what Carcassonne games these 6 couples than include.
Can you help him to find the games?
If you know the answer, please fill the participation form to the 28.04.2013. To participate in the raffle! Repeatedly sending is pointless, because only an answer comes to the draw.

Who doesn't know that? If you play in a relaxed atmosphere and suddenly you wonder how exactly a rule is interpreted. Especially when playing with two or more extensions, the interpretation is not always clear.

Or you get in the toy store and see Carcassonne just all over the place and don't know where to begin?
Maybe you get but just not enough of Carcassonne, and all of the extensions are no longer enough for you?

In such cases we can recommend the great forums, arising from the Carcassonne community. We would like to put on the heart www.carcassonne-forum.de
Here are extremely dedicated moderators and members, which can give competent answers to Carcassonne questions.

Also, all the Carcassonne games are clearly presented with image, control and content.
That is not enough for you, which can download additional (unofficial) fan extensions.
We hope you enjoy browsing and thank all active members of the Carcassonne community for her activism.
