Posting here some Carcassonne items for you guys if interested in any of these. You pay for store price and shipping. I do not make any money from this. It's my way to help you guys as some other members has before me!

The Ark of the Covenant - Scandinavian / Finnish version, paper ark

Price: 239 SEK / 26 Euro / 32 USD (Euro and USD rounded up)
The New World, English version
None - Just got confirmation. I will still look for it as there are a few stores yet haven't had time to check
The Discovery, English version
1x copy, price 253 SEK + There may still be 2 more available in another store
UPDATED December 28, 2014: Shipping will be 2kg, 214 SEK for European Union or 250 SEK for the rest of the world. I might get it under 1 kg if I go thin on packaging for 154 SEK European Union and 170 SEK rest of the world.
The City, English version
None. Last one was sold and shipped to a member on this forum.
The Castle, English version
5x copies still in the store
Price: Between 260-290 SEK depending how many I order in.
Shipping for 1 kg, most of these boxes falls into this category will be:
European Uninion countries: 154 SEK* (approximately 17 Euro)
Rest of the world: 184 SEK*( approximately 25 USD)
The Castle weighs a little more and is shipped as letter 2 kg which costs 214 SEK
*Swedish Krona

I'm pretty sure it's the Scandinavian version and the paper Ark. I can always swing by and check. Maybe even buy one and keep case someone wants it before it's too late.

Depends on the weight for the Ark box. Shipping: Europe 21 Euro for 2kg and 16 Euro for 1kg.

Sure, why not? I'll swing by tomorrow if I can. Last I checked (about an hour ago) only one store has it but does not say how many. I know there was one about a month ago when I visited the store and it's been there for ages.

Just to be clear: This is the Scandinavian version with Swedish, Danish and Norweigan rules. I can't account for the content if it's the wooden Ark or paper, but very good chance it is the paper version, as the picture on the box depicts it.
Last physical visit to the store showed 4 copies if my memory serves correct.

That's 3 copies. :) Let's hope there's enough, and I can always ask the clerk if he or she has more in storage. Also, there's a few copies in another city, which they can ship to the local store free of charge, but it might take a week or two.

Shipping will be the same, sent as "letter". It starts at 1kg then 2kg. After that it's 5kg for a special blue box and 20 kg same box.
I will know exactly once I get a copy, unless someone knows it's weight. The dimensions are the same as the original box which helps.

If it is 650 g I might be able to pack it below 1kg and thus the shipping would be 16 Euro for Europe and 21 Euro worldwide. It's already in plastic so I only need another box that fits.
I took the liberty of putting everyone that was interested on a list. I will buy as many as I can get my hands on and let you know. Feel free to cancel once I contact you with complete postage and payment total if you changed your mind.

Thanks for the offer, but what I meant was that I already bought this game last week in an auction, so I don't need another one (unless the first one gets lost in the mail!). Anyway, no worries - I was joking. I am happy with my shrink-wrapped English-language version with the wooden ark and apparently nicer tiles. Thanks for helping other members get a copy of this game.

This reminds me of a board game I bought almost 30 years ago. There were no rules at all and all the text was in Hungarian. Still, it was a fun game and me and my brother made rules up as we played.
And that's not the only one time I bought something without rules in Swedish or English. C:-) You might say I never cared much about rules when I was a kid. Even now so, albeit not in the same level as the young rebel that I was.

The same happened to me and my younger sister when we were kids (about 10 and 5 years old). Parents gave us as New Year's present our first serious board game - Monopoly. All stuff and rules were in English, but we didn't know a word in English! So, we invented our own rules, all hotels were meeples, rent for visiting states (real estates were USA states) was their mortgage value (half a price!), etc. Only after some years I started to study English and at last translated the rules and all the special cards. We had got brand new game that day! :)

Alright!
So yesterday was a crazy day as the work server crashed and came online literally 15 mins before the end of my shift, meaning I had to cramp an entire day of work into those 15 mins. Let's just say, Monday will be fun for me. :P
But, I did manage to reach the store before closing time, ten minutes prior! They had only one copy in but there's 8 more in another city, which I ordered in 3 that will arrive next week.
So this one copy I have atm, will be shipped to the first on the list.

The CAR for the AotC was compiled by me for CarcassonneCentral and is available in the downloads section on this very site!
It's a great version of Carcassonne and, in my opinion, it is by far the best version of 'vanilla' Carcassonne.

Did a little pre-con, awaiting answers from some of the stores.
New World seems to have vanished from the face of the earth, though I could've sworn I've seen it in one of the local stores. Going to visit it this Saturday. The store is a bit mischief and have no trouble lying to a customer. If I didn't get a few good buys from there, I'd diss him instantly or maybe even report him.
A good recent example: I ask the store owner how many of certain game is available and he says that's the last one. I buy it, knowing it's out of print, albeit a fair price, and same week I find out he restocked. :(n)
Now, The Discovery on the other hand, I have a few copies. What I can't verify yet is if these are Scandinavian / Finnish release or the English version. Preliminary estimate would be a total of 40 Euro for the game and shipping in total depending how many I order, if it's shipped internationally. Within Europe Union it would be less. I may be able to truncate the price down to 38 Euro.

These prices are what you would pay for item and shipping total. Shipping will be somewhat lower if sent within European Union.

As requested by Yellow, her are a short game report for our first two games with The Ark of the Covenant.
The “game mechanics” is a blend between original Carcassonne and Hunters & Gatherers with the addition of something different. Especially the scoring when moving the Ark give you a new interesting strategically option. The Prophet also makes you think different when you build cities, as he can only be used once and score double for the city.
We really enjoyed both the “game mechanics” and the artwork. I think The Ark of the Covenant and Hunters & Gatherers will be our preferred games when we want to play a quick game.
The first game I :black-meeple: won with 29 points :D
I finished the big city with my Prophet

The second game my girlfriend :red-meeple: won with 22 points :(
Of the big cities I managed only to finish the one to the right at the bottom. She finished all the other big ones and most of the smaller, as I mainly drew tiles with roads.

Do you know if Carcassonne: The City is the wooden box edition (I've always been confused as to whether there is a wooden box edition as well as a cardboard box edition). If it's wooden and brand new (i.e. still shrinkwrapped) then I'd be very happy to buy it!

I'll check and get back to you. They should be new still wrapped in the original plastic. It's a regular toystore just outside my city, hence less visitors.

Do you know if Carcassonne: The City is the wooden box edition (I've always been confused as to whether there is a wooden box edition as well as a cardboard box edition). If it's wooden and brand new (i.e. still shrinkwrapped) then I'd be very happy to buy it!
There is definitely a wooden box version. A copy resides in my collection.

I just got home and company already arrived. Posting quick some key update and will get back to you all later tonight (CET).
1. I now have 3x copies of Ark of The Covenant, Scandinavian / Finnish version. Shipping is under 20 Euro worldwide, Exact shipping cost can be found in an earlier post on this thread.
2. I'll order that last The City copy and a The Castle, so you both get the English version.
3. New World haven't gotten any answer on yet, as there are 2 copies out there I still am waiting for a respond.
4. 2 copies of Ark of the Covenant is still not reserved, I think, if anyone interested.
5. The reserved one will be invoiced later tonight and I can have it shipped this Monday if payment arrives during the weekend.

Oh that's good to know! I have found a copy here and there with the wooden piece, but they were always $100+ each. I could not get myself to pay that much for it :o

Yes, the first edition has a plastic ark and the second edition has a wooden ark with apparently nicer/shinier tiles as well. Here is a discussion on BGG (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/521181/which-edition-has-wooden-ark) about the different arks.

It's the least I can do for not winning the forum game. :P
Seriously, though, I like doing it. The hunt has always been more enjoyable than owning and using the stuff I acquire. If you'd see my LEGO collection you'd blow a casket. Selling it, though and because so much of it is still in new condition I get my money back or maybe even make a small profit. Selling it cheap to get rid of it faster.

I might as well come out and say it: I ordered all 10 copies. There, now you know. Not decided what to do with these, but I have some ideas.
Those of you already bought it from me, know that it will not go unnoticed. There might be some sort of compensation for you guys later in the future!

Been digging for that and such, like Hunters and Gatherers. Anything rare is just not available (as new) here any longer. But I will keep my eye out when travelling. It's the little hidden store around the corner that usually has them, and they do not have a website.
