Had a trip to holland this weekend, for a quick Sinterklaas visit!
And today my order from Cundco arrived as well!
So a good score over the last few days!

Yep, managed to get one via the back-door channels
Had to meet a guy in a long rain coat in a dark corner of a parking garage in the rain, but managed to get it! And my Cundco order included the Spiel tile  ;D

Nice haul indeed! I hope you had a nice Sinterklaas in good ol' Holland.

I'm still waiting for my "Paket 2" from Cundco . (Curious about the little mystery game thingy that comes with it...)

Early Christmas presents delivered by I love the Chooselife:

King's Road, a Knizia reimplementation with art by Vincent Dutrait where players are nobles trying to gain power and influence in the kingdom; Tortuga 1667, where players are pirates trying to rob the Spanish armada in the Caribbean; Dragon Dodge, a neat little tile-moving/rotating game where teams of wizards try to avoid being eaten by a dragon; and the medieval limited edition reprint of Battle Line, a Knizia classic.

So I wasn't too happy with the postman today.  I bought a bunch of those cool envelopes that are perfect for shipping board game pieces.  The USPS considers them "parcels" rather than envelopes, so I had to fill out a customs form.  Booo  :(n)  They also asked me what "Rão" meant in Portuguese.  I didn't know, but apparently it means "the".  I would have guessed "river".  Shows what I know  ::)

They made up for it though, because this arrived today.  Yes, Isle of Skye has a Tunnels expansion.  Will this be worth the same as the Carcassonne one years from now?  Probably not, but I had to have it.  There is a "wanderer" on the middle tile of the right side.  He goes along with the new full expansion for the game.  It was supposed to be in stores over here last month, but was delayed.

Also they shipped me a bonus card for Agricola.  We don't have that game, but cool promo nonetheless.  Why yes, I do believe the goat is fertilizing the soil...

Sorry if this was my fault. I don't have the message saved anymore so I don't know if some weird autocorrect happened when I sent the address to you, but the address should be Rua Poiais de São Bento. Rua is street in Portuguese (i.e. related to the French 'Rue'). River is 'rio', as in Rio de Janeiro. And FWIW, 'the' in Portuguese is o/os/a/as depending on the gender and singular/plural aspect of the following noun. Meanwhile, 'Rão' is a completely made up word, but I like it!

You didn't typo, I did.  It was the accent over the "a" in Sao.  The postal service computers can't handle accents on words which is weird because Puerto Rican addresses have a bunch of them and they are a US territory.

Sao means Saint, but I didn't know at the time.  Bento to me is a carry out box you get from a Chinese Food place.   ::)

If my son doesn't want it, you can have it.  He is at that age where things like this are funny.

Ahh OK, cool. Thanks again for sending it.

Are the Isle of Skye tunnels (part of) the large expansion? Or a smaller one? I'm not really keeping up with Isle of Skye developments.

The large expansion is called "the Wanderer".  The tunnels are a mini expansion and just happen to feature a wanderer tile.  It is sort of like how the River II features a volcano which is only a part of Princess and Dragon.
