Title: Up On The Roof
Post by: wolnic on April 13, 2018, 07:04:33 AM
So, what are these two doing? And who can identify the tile? The tile (and possibly others) occur in both Carc2 and Carc2.1 versions.

Traders and Builders.

1. CCCR with a cloth icon in the bigger of the 2 cities.
2. CCCR with a wheat icon in the bigger of the 2 cities.

Congratulations! I first spotted it on the wheat one and then noticed the silk one when I looked a bit closer.

What is Carc 2.1?

It is the 50 shades of grey under the Carcasonne ::)

They cities have a different color. One of the two is alot more darker. I thought

Carc2 refers to the first printing of the base game and first two expansions. When the rest of the expansions started coming out the ground in the cities was much lighter, so they are referred as Carc2.1. Recent versions of the base game and first two expansions now have the lighter backgrounds. When designing tiles for expansions I have to remember to do both as I have the dark base and expansions, while everyone else seems to prefer the lighter ... ;)

Or Carc1!
