A user on BoardGameGeek posted a photo of eight cut-n-play tiles for Carcassonne 2.0 that apparently were hidden on the bottom of the gift box given at out Essen 2014 and 2015. Does anybody know anything about these and whether these tiles are new or simply reprints of existing tiles? The existence of two additional river tiles in this batch is especially interesting if they are new.

In reality they are 10 tiles, and only one is different from other. The three river tiles are not modified.

Interesting. The version I saw didn't include the wings. Which tile is different than official printed tiles? And why would they include 10 tiles as print-n-play when at least some pieces, rules, etc are still required? This seems like it should be an expansion, not just a random set of ten tiles.

It's not print'n'play but cut'n'play! Do you have to glue them on blanc tiles or are they thick as other tiles?
Yes this should be an expansion ... maybe because there are so less expansions for Carcassonne II until now.

This is a fairly standard tile though. rrfc already exists so is it just different art
