Title: About Cundco carcassonne ice cube tray
Post by: BabyGamer on September 15, 2014, 10:20:58 AM
Ok, I got a question about the ice cube tray that is for sale at Cundco.de site... :)

here is the link to the product: http://www.cundco.de/shop/?tx_dkdshop%5Bcategory%5D=1&tx_dkdshop%5Bproduct%5D=163 (http://www.cundco.de/shop/?tx_dkdshop%5Bcategory%5D=1&tx_dkdshop%5Bproduct%5D=163)

so it says that it's original size... but is it original shape as well?  :o Those chocolate meeples looks a bit fat.. like, too short arms and legs, and too chubby body.  :-\ same with the ice pictures...

Oh and it says it's made of silicone and can be put in oven, so I can make mini cookies with it aswell? Anyone know how much is the max temperature allowed for this thing? :)

Anyone bought this item and knows the answers? :)

I have the ice cube tray. I stuck a meeple into it and it fits perfectly. I haven't tried putting it in the oven, but silicone is stable from -55 Celsius to +300 Celsius (572 Fahrenheit), so it should be fine. If you're going to try making cookies in it, you'll need to make sugar cookies or shortbread, which don't change size during baking. I'll stick to using the cookie cutters.
