I'm traveling to the US with work on Saturday for a week, so might be out of action. Though hopefully I can play NY and Andrew slightly easier.

I am available for about two hours now. Tomorrow night I should have a bit of time to make a game or two.

Just finished really outstanding game with Quevy! I was in stress throughout the whole game!
From the beginning I risked to much and it cost me 2 trapped meeples. Then we started to fight for a huge city, and in the very end of the game it was shared with 84 points. I was completely outplayed in roads (5-51!), but managed to prevent Quevy from field sharing by counting tiles and not letting that to happen.

I won my match against Zone2, he has caught many tiles that were good for me, but the last tile that I extracted was exactly what i needed and I was able to vencere the great duel for the field taking home 45 points .
I think Zone2 is a player of the highest level, be able to win gives me satisfaction.

No problem, there are plenty of other games to be played even without your involvement. Decar is in the same time zone as you at the moment (or will be soon anyway) so you can probably get a game in with him quite easily. Hopefully you’ll be able to get 2 or 3 games in at the weekend too...

Decar has been going through a very busy period at work which has now come to an end I believe (until the next time). He is in the US at the moment though, and should be back soon. I'm sure he'll be able to get things back on track again when he returns.
I emailed ny1050220 a few weeks ago and he responded quite quickly. I will send another email, including all members of Group A, and hopefully this will provide a more mutually convenient method of arranging matches.

This was an enjoyable game even though I lost. Again! We both had good and bad luck but quevy managed to get the big Farm with one of his last tiles and I could not get the tile I needed to equalise. That was made worse by quevy getting one of them near the end as well.

A fairly even game - except I lost :x I wasted a meeple trapping the super cathedral city and played farmers a little late. Got lucky my a cloister near the end too.

I do feel a bit bad... :( Because at the start Andrew was red and it's the color I always use, so I reeeeaaallly wanted it.. And he was kind enough to give it to me.. ^-^ And then I won and he lost because he gave the good luck red meeple to me.. :'( I got totally lucky the whole game. Got all the right pieces. :-[ No skill, pure luck. Maybe because of the red meeple. :-\
I blame the developer of the game.. :( There should be more colors to choose from... Pink, and others. If there is pink, then it doesn't matter if someone is red because IRL I'm always pink. :)

I just played Quevy - A very close game!
182 Decar : 178 Quevy
I seemed to have a really unlucky draw at the start of the game; but somehow managed to block Quevy's trapping of the large city in the middle. That gave me a boost I needed to carry on. Thankfully I drew the last cccc card as well to score 21 + 9 for a end of game farmer.
Awesome fight for the major field at the end - I pulled off a sneeky wrap around on the left to nullify the main field - but Quevy was able to finish that road for a massive 22points. But I put my Big meeple to good use with the last tile of the game!!!!

Just a quick question... We changed time zone in Finland this weekend.. Now we have Summer time, +1h, from the original +2h.. :) Does that mean that I am now +3h from UK? :o How does it affect the others? Do everyone go +1h so the time difference doesn't change, or... how? ???

Yes indeed. Most of Europe moved forward on Sunday whereas the US moved forward several weeks ago, hence that they're normally 5 hours behind the UK but then were 4 hours behind us until we moved forward and it became 5 again.
Ultimately though, the only change this will have made is between you and ny1050220 who is now an extra hour away (7 hours rather than 6 I think).

My first game with BabyGammer and it was a very fun game; the start was very crazy - Cloister with Road; CCCC; Cloister. I started off with a small city but BabyGamer went for an enormous super City, I quickly joined in worried I couldn't trap it and to watch it grow ever larger.
BabyGamer also built a highway; which I thankfully blocked and I got lucky and drew the last crcr card!
I was able to complete a moderate city with a Cathedral too for 21 points and did a nice bit of cloistering near the end. I was a tad annoyed i miscounted the moves, I could have placed another follower down.
All in all a fun, and slightly chaotic game! Thanks a lot Baby Gamer, I look forward to our next !

Yay!! Thank you! ;D However, I think farming is my weakest point because I really struggle to own the farms and I struggle to see how to connect farms and stuff.. Really a hard brain puzzle for me.. Phew.. :o

Hopefully you’ll be pleased to know that it’s not quite over yet then...
Once all games have been played, each player will have a rank (1st – 7th) within their own group (A – C). The final stage of the competition involves everyone of the same ranking from each group forming a new group of 3 players each (since there were 3 groups originally).
For example, I came 5th in Group B so I will be forming a new group (D5) with whoever also comes 5th in groups A and C. Similarly, MrNumbers won Group A, Farin won Group B and Leven won Group C so these three will also all be in the same final group (D1).
Everyone in the final groups will play a match against both of their opponents and the overall rankings will be determined by the results of these games. So, the three people in D1 will be playing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall. The three people in D2 will be playing for 4th, 5th and 6th overall. And so on.
Before any of that can happen though, we just need the last 4 games to happen. Hopefully this will be soon!
