There is no scoreboard included unfortunatly  :(
I havent read the rules through yet, but i believe it suggests using pen and paper for scoring

There is plenty of space inside the cover. So somebody could design a print out scoreboard for the cover?  :)

There is no scoreboard ... it suggests using pen and paper

Well ... yuck. I almost ordered this thing, but now I'm glad I didn't.

I like that idea - I'll look at putting one together this weekend. I'll need to find a decent card stock and measure out the cover.

Could be the next forum challenge making scoreboard somehow.

Will there be an English version? I noticed it popped up at a few Swedish stores for the German edition.
World record holder for a single game of Carcassonne using 10 007 tiles!

And the size of the tiles is the same as the Travel Edition. Can you spot the tiles? ;)
Fine, this means that the size is also the same of the demo version. Finally those twenty tiles have a reason for existing: increasing the number of tiles in this game!  :D
I also noticed gardens on some tiles: does the rulesheet mention the Abbot expansion?

Just had a quick look, but no abbot mentioned in the rules. And i dont think the gardens are mentioned either. In the bit about the cloisters there is a clear picture of a cloister with a garden, but no rules about the gardens. Ill have a closer look tomorrow and post some pictures

Just had a read through the rules.
It says to use a piece of paper and pen to keep the score, and there is no mentioning of the gardens or abbots. It does refer to the 'normal' version and that it comes with 2 mini-expansions  ;)

In regards to the missing scoring track:
I printed a slightly altered version of the C II and glued it to some card board paper I had laying around.
The result is a small scoring track that fits in the tin box :)
I also printed/made a Friday track for the Friday expansion for South Seas. I found it on this forum, printed it and now its easier to use a bag when playing the game with the Friday expansion :)

Carcassonne-für-2 is sounding more cockamamy every time I hear about it or see pictures. They just didn't even try with this thing. No score board. Gardens but no abbeys. Poorly-written rules. Let's just toss a bunch of tiles in a box with some miniature meeples and see what people do!

Well, i guess they want to just sell as many as they can and make lots of money, as any shop/business wants to ;)
But yeah, not thought through as we would have liked to see.

Attached the PDF with the scoreboard in the right size :)

Yeah, it's sad that even at a paltry 6 Euro many of us will remain untempted by this thing. In a way, though, it's a positive: clunky, incompatible products like this in the new art do corroborate the decision to ignore the reboot product line.

I've ordered 5.

Can anyone confirm whether the box would fit 72 normal tiles and 16 (or perhaps 14) normal meeples?

Thanks Willem88. At that price I'd say it's worth it just for the box if you're someone who likes the idea of carrying Carcassonne everywhere you go. Regardless of what's in it! :(y)
