After the success of the Carcassonne Games Marathon in Draughts a couple of weeks ago, I have been thinking about what the next challenge could be for our community.

I think what I would be most interested in doing next is setting a challenge to play all of the tiles across the Carcassonne franchise in one weekend. So that would include the base game and all of the vairants and spin-offs, as well as all of the expansions for each of them!

When I have played Mega Carcassonne before (including all of the expansions to the base game), it usually takes most of a day to play through. So I do think that we would need a whole weekend to manage this challenge.

Before I think too much more about the details (where? when? how?), is anybody else interested in this in principle?

Note, this needn't necessarily be in the UK - though it probably will be in Europe.

If there were non-Brits interested, I was thinking that Essen might be a possibility around Spiel time? Or perhaps we could go on a pilgrimage to the city of Carcassonne itself?
