I voted something else. Can't be in a league due to shortage of time from my part.

If possible, try not to have to large of a league as I feel it spams the forum, at least until we can figure out how to hide those post for members (or maybe it's just me?).

I think it would be good to have a feature on the forum that allowed you to hide threads you aren't interested in.

Back to the topic, I'm rather a minimalist. I'd like to play the Base game + only one expansion (major or just mini).

I'm actually totally ok with playing only with the base game, and adding 1 (yes, only 1) mini to the game to add a bit variety. I'm not super fond of the idea of putting a bunch of minis together to try to get the size of a large expansion... I also don't see the point of rushing to play with all expansions available in JCZ: if we play one mini per tournament, we can play for at least the next 3 years without having a similar tournament. We learn better the strategies of each expansion when played separately, in my opinion.

For now I voted BC&B... after, I expect others to disagree with the idea of playing one mini at a time, but that's ok. I think a majority of forum members here really like mega carc games but for me, the base game alone is still very interesting.

You could be on to something there, Jere.

Play with only one expansion and by the end of the "season" have a mega game with a few or all expansions played that season.

Well, the World Cup works a bit like that already. It's like a crescendo: few expansions in the group stage and almost mega carcassonne for the final.
