My postman treat for today. I've been hunting this for a while.

Jungleboy- did you take your package to the museum?  Given the title it would be perfect!

Hehe, no, I just have a bust of the Roman emperor Hadrian in my otherwise empty living room. Plus I should probably retake that photo in daylight.

These just came the other day.

Some old ... some new. Look forward to trying both!

Happy to see Troyes back in print along with its expansion.

I bought Ulm on a whim at Essen, it just seemed like a cool game. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to play it in my last couple of months in Switzerland and then I only just got my games back last week and I still don't have a shelf for them yet. So, basically, I hope to play Ulm soon! Troyes is another one that I might consider since I'm into dice games at the moment.

Second attempt: Alea Iacta Est (The Die is Cast) is an out of print and since reimplemented pure dice game. It's a light, Euro version of Yahtzee where, as Caesar, you roll dice and allocate them to Roman buildings (temple, senate, military barracks, forum, latrine), collecting laws, provinces and patricians along the way as reward for gaining control of the buildings. I got it on BGG and I'm super happy about finding it!

Alas, no picture but my things from Halfling arrived as well. Big up for everything you've done, Halfling. Absolute legend.

I got my package from Halfling today too. Thanks dude! :(y)

One interesting, but probably not unusual, thing about the Inns & Cathedrals box is that it had "Die Erweiterung" written on the box which I guess means "The Expansion" which was what it was called when it was first released. I guessed maybe this meant it was quite old, but the tiles had watermarks on them so they can't have been especially old.

@Andrew the Ambo: I will send you the river tiles from the PC game package...

I believe the Dutch version of I&C is still called 'The Expansion'.

It is in the old artwork. 999 games have the new artwork as Kathedralen en herbergen, so adapted to the Inns and cathedrals name

My box for the English version of I&C is called The expansion from memory.....the box is in the loft so I can't check right now.

Good to hear that Berkshire and Belgium are happy.  Hoping that Latvia, Hampshire, Lothian, Northridge, Netherlands and Espana follow suit soon.

I might even break even this evening.........!
