Sorry for another sad announcement today. After many years, we are finally closing up the Shoppe. The direction where the Shoppe is going was not what we had envisioned. Too many communication issues and roadblocks with what we want to do.
We would like to thank Hans im Glück, Carcassonne On Tour, and Klaus-Jürgen Wrede for all the amazing support they had given us along the way. We would also like to thank Carcassonne Central - without you guys, we wouldn't have existed for so long! And of course, we would like to thank our loyal customers for supporting us at every launch date.
But it wouldn't be a proper send off without an awesome going out of business sale. O0 The first week, (starting right now), every boxed game is 50% off! We also have signed Spiel 14 tiles. Each week will have a different sale.

NOOO!!!!! Carcassonne The Discovery just sold out! I was finally going to buy the five stand-alones I don't have (that I actually want): Discovery, Winter Edition, South Seas, Gold Rush, and Travel Edition. I picked up the last four, but I couldn't order until I got home this evening and Discovery was gone by then. Any chance there is a lingering copy still available, Carcatronn? I've been holding off getting that for years now (clearly).
Also, is there any way to buy two copies of Big Box 5 in the same order? I know it has to ship by itself, but could it ship with a like-sized friend? I want to get a copy and I also want to buy one for a wedding gift for a friend. Thanks!

Sorry about the Discovery, that truly was the last one. I honestly did not expect to sell 90% of our boxed games on DAY 1 - speechless. Since you are buying so much, I should be able to fit the x4 games and the x2 Big Boxes in one big shipping box. There are only 4 Big Boxes left, so if you would like to checkout through the website and reserve two of them, we will simply remove all of the excess shipping when it's time to process.

I have River and River II. Is River III something new?
It's a special version of River 1 rather than an entirely new river but it contains a couple of tiles (2 or 3 I think) which can't be found elsewhere so some are referring to it as River 3 although I don't think this is an official name. It comes with Big Box 5.

That's just the flat rate default shipping authorization - we will of course reduce it once we are ready to ship if you checkout online to reserve. Or if you PM us a list of items and your email address, we can send over an invoice through PayPal in a few days. Please know that doesn't reserve your items until we invoice it though!
We only accept PayPal, so hope this is okay.

Do you know if your copies of Winter Edition included the Gingerbread Man? If not, I'll go ahead and order it from Cundco before it disappears. Thanks for including the other two expansions. Since those both have only a single expansion each, I rather consider them a part of the base game (like The Scout for Hunters & Gatherers). Cheers!

It should be pretty clear just by looking at the box.
For instance, this one contains the gingerbread man (otherwise it is not there).

Yeah, the problem is I am not there to look at it and my in-laws are not very bright about things like this. I don't particularly trust them to find the little guy hiding on the cover. I had to walk them through, step-by-step, to pull the River III tiles from Big Box 5 and I have a feeling that what I'll eventually get are either the wrong tiles or slightly torn tiles. We'll see.

I bought a second copy of the winter carcassonne last week ( for the tile backs to make an expansion) and was disappointed to see it did not come bundled with the gingerbread man (my first copy had it included). It is a bit dissapointing that you cannot always get the same thing in the box and have to be carfull checking them out before you buy.
Checking out all the local stores and the on-line stores it seems that just about everything in the old format is out of stock or heading that way. If you have any gaps in your collection it seems (as Jean Luc Picard used to say when he needed to be transported off an exploding starship) "now would be a good time"
