Yes, this issue never used to be so prevalent but since farin has created a few new releases recently (:(y)), in a short space of time, it's become important again to check that everyone is using the most recent version. Or if not the most recent, at least it should be the same. This is also relevant as the different versions seem to connect to different online servers if you intend to play using the online server. This was a problem for Laplazadecarcassonne and I where we were both using different versions of JCloisterZone (without realising) and were both connected to the online server but couldn't see each other!
How were the results of your game with Riker dronedrone? My game with TheSteveAllen has been postponed due to personal reasons from my side.

How were the results of your game with Riker dronedrone?
Riker 1 - 1 dronedrone - Points difference to follow from Riker.
Riker won the first game comprehensively, I don't have a screen shot and Riker will be posting the detail after the weekend.
Game 2 - I managed to adjust my approach after my resounding defeat in Round 1 focusing on winning the 18-point field 4 Meeples to 3. This took my attention away from the 19-point city that Riker managed to get a foothold in. A couple of lucky tiles enabled me to hold on to the field and scrape through by the skin of my teeth.
-
Rosco and I also played our round 6 games this weekend. Here are the results:
:red-meeple: Rosco vs :violet-meeple: Leven 77:92
:violet-meeple: Leven vs :red-meeple: Rosco 119:76
If I'm not mistaken Dan now has a chance to take the lead in the tournament.

@Riker - anything to report? Specifically the scores from your first game please C:-)
TheSteve and I postponed our match at my request, but will be playing it soon. Any news from the @MrNumbers vs. @Sinscerly clash of the century?

Riker 117 dronedrone 82
I felt like this game was going very wrong early doors but then I got a lovely run of useful city parts that enabled me to create a huge farm and then it was just a case of defending it. dronedrone misclicked a meeple on to a road at one point and that might have proved critical.
dronedrone 82 Riker 81
To state the obvious, this one could have gone either way! dronedrone was unlucky not to have completed the large city alone so it felt fair enough that the last few tiles fell in dronedrone's favour.

Game 1

I don't quite know how this game went so badly wrong for me, but everything I tried seemed to fail whereas Steve was generating points for himself all over the place which all added up. I tried to kill a big city he was building but he escaped me. Then I tried to join it, but he drew the first splitter and cut me out.
It didn't help that Steve's expert trapping skillz left 2 of my meeples needing specific tiles to recover them. I was lucky enough to draw what I needed in both cases (eventually), but meanwhile Steve had used this meeple advantage well and could afford to get 3 meeples onto the main farm whereas I couldn't stretch beyond 2.
My last hope was to complete a large city I'd accidentally been building in the north (I was forced to place the cccc tile in this city as there was nowhere else to put it). I managed to get this to one tile away from completion before Steve successfully got one of his own meeples onto it and the game was lost. Well played Steve...
Game 2

Just as I didn't know why the first game went so badly, I'm not sure how I managed to win the second game either. Steve got a good break early on with a 22-point city which catapulted him into an early lead while I was messing about waiting for straight roads!
I didn't suffer too much from having too few meeples for most of the game which meant I could fight back for the farm, even though it was quite small at first. I also took a risk trapping two of my own meeples in the hope that I drew one of the two remaining cccf tiles to complete a small city of my own. Steve drew the next one, but thankfully I drew the final one and managed to keep myself in the game as the farm-war raged on.
I took a couple of risks with some cloisters in this game, which mostly paid off, but it wasn't until I'd blocked Steve's attempt to get a fourth farmer of his own onto our shared farm and finally completed the 14-point city in the north-west corner that I felt I may have done enough to have won the game.
So the final result was a draw with one game each. However, Steve was the points winner with +33 PD.
Thanks for the games Steve! :(y)

All games played now?
Not quite. But given the circumstances, I think it's fair to kick Round 7 off and I will backfill the league table with the result of MrNumbers and Sinscerly's match once they've played it. So here are the results at this point:
After I missed an opportunity to overtake him, Rosco is holding on to his spot at the top with both hands! Can he go all the way, or will someone from the orderly queue that is forming behind him find a much-needed chance to strike? Only one way to find out! Onwards, to Round 7 (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=4287.msg63039#msg63039)...
