Honestly, it's a great example of a game that plays better on an iPad than in real life. The game is rather slow and uneventful. I've only played the physical version twice and I was SO bored it was ridiculous. I have the iPad version, though, and it is much more fun, even in multiplayer. I'm not sure what it is about the game, but it just works that way. I've heard mostly positive things about its expansion but the theme alone is so dumb I would probably never buy it: Style is the Goal. Really? In the stone age? Style? Psh. If you get it, I would recommend picking up the extra buildings expansion from Spielbox. Not only does it give you five more buildings with slightly new abilities, but you get five more Cult tiles for Carcassonne too! Win!

I enjoy the game.  I don't find it too boring as long as everyone knows what they are doing and plays quickly, but there are lots of games like that.  The expansion is very good.  I only played it twice, and incorrectly the first time, but it was fun.  The extra huts that Whaleyland mentioned are included in the expansion as well.  Personally, I think it's worthwhile.  I bought my copy to introduce new gamers to worker placement games.  I would probably consider it #5 on the list of gateway games (Catan, Carc, TtR, Pandemic, SA).

I think Stone Age is a wonderful example of a physical board game. One of the best worker placement games available. However, I prefer the game without the Style is the Goal expansion, although the expansion is still very good. Well worth the small amount of time it takes to learn.

So last week I finally got it..
I played it once now, and yes its pretty slow, but it was the first time..

Does anyone now how to expand this game (except for the expansion and 2 promo's?)

Does anyone still have some spare Buildings from the spielbox version or even the casino huts from the railroads expansion?

The Spielbox huts were included in the expansion. I don't know about the casino huts. I've played a lot of iPad Stone Age and don't mind it, but in-person play is slow and boring. I've heard the expansion jazzes things up quite a bit.

SRBO, are you still looking for the new huts from the Spielbox expansion? I bought the magazine for the Carcassonne tiles, so now have those spare.

Or if anyone else is looking for them just send me a PM about it.

For sure first pick goes to SRBO, but if he is no longer interested, I would take you up on the offer.

Cheers ,
Franks

Wanna play Carc? Can we add just one more expansion?
