So I went to pickup Z-man edition of Winter Edition but there was no Gingerbread wooden fig in it so I cancelled the order. Did I do the right thing? It has 84 tiles though.

Which version or versions is recommended for all tiles and wood competition?

The basic Winter Edition (i.e. no expansions) includes 84 tiles. The Gingerbread Man expansion is 6 tiles. I thought the Z-Man games edition included both (90 tiles) but maybe I was wrong. Depending on price, you could still buy it and then buy the Gingerbread Man expansion separately? That's what I thought as well. On the description on the store's page it even says that "the Z-man version of the game includes The Gingerbread Man expansion."

It has the Z-man logo and is the English version but no hint to include the Gingerbread. The clerk was kind enough to open the game and have me look inside. No ginger meeple nor extra tiles.

Paul, I'm happy to ship you one from the UK if you can find a decent/better price. Seems to be around £22-25 though.

Thanks. The price is 25 Euro here as well, the one without Gingerbread tiles and wooden figure.

I'm more after all the tile variation so I might go back and buy it still and then completing with the Gingerbread standalone from Cundco as suggested earlier in this thread by Dan.

If it's variation you're after then you may be interested to know that there are two different versions of the Gingerbread Man as the first edition of it contained a misprint (one of the tiles was included twice and another of the tiles was missing).

I read on the Z-Man shopping site that it may or may not include The G-Man. 2nd printing does not include that expansion.

So, I went back and bought the 2nd ed of Z-man version of Winter Edition. I take it I only need the Gingerbread expansion now. Cundco to get it was it?
