I've just noticed that cundco website got updated. I checked for new items but sadly I believe the change is only cosmetic.
I like the new look but I was expecting something new to buy :'(

I just had a look and the Winter Crop Circle and Watchtower tiles are on there!
Unfortunately upon going to check out, I hit a brick wall in the form of a 403 page :P

My watchtower order processed ok. I thought about spiel doch 2/16 magazine. Wondering if an amazonas expansion would be included?

Oops, I feel a bit foolish for buying The Watchtowers on eBay straight after Spiel! Usually there is more of a delay, right? Or perhaps I just misremembered!

Seriously, I overreached last year and overpaid a bit for the Winter Edition Crop Circles. I can't even play the expansion right now since my game is in a different country!
Now I am struggling over whether to buy The Watchtowers or not. I held off from buying Japanese Temples because it's new art and a repeat of Dutch and German Monasteries, but Watchtowers is all new.... :-X

This is my exact thoughts too - just waiting for that 'kill two birds with one stone' opportunity :D
Bah, I was very much happy with my original art edition collection and had no desire to get the new art, but the Carcassonne completionist in me doesn't agree :(

As a wiseman (Rosco) once said: What do you do once you've collected everything? Start collecting everything again :(y) That's good enough reason for the new artwork :)

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass for now. I may PnP the tiles in the old art or may break down and buy the new-art tiles. Have you asked them if they can toss in any Spiel '16 tiles? If they can toss in one of those, then I will probably be on board. I have the '14 and '15 tiles and I feel like those, at least, are fun to collect.
