Just finished my game with Piklach.

I had a a strong start and finish, with Piklach giving a good run during the mid game. He probably over committed on a late Cult to leave him him short of meeps.

Round 2, Group C
Just played an enjoyable and pretty intense game with lomdr.
In the end it all came down to points scored for the farms (and careful use of meeples to prevent them from getting trapped early on).

Final scores were:

Current Standings - hopefully no mistakes here, I've already shown my additions skills are poor today:

GroupA : All games complete

GroupB: Remaining Games: Curt vs franks & Ailurus vs Curt

GroupC: Remaining Games: Lomdr vs ToastyToast & Lomdr Halfling

Final ranking tables will be drawn up once all the games have been completed.

Please complete your games before the 19th October.

Setup for Round 3

Equivalent ranked Players from each GroupA,B,C will play a single -3 player game to decide final ranking.

Given the logistics involved, only the Top player from each Group will need to schedule a game. Once Round 3 has started, 2 weeks will be allocated to play the game.

It would be nice, but optional, for the remaining 2nd, 3rd, 4th players to schedule a time to play. If a game cannot be scheduled the players who cannot play will forfeit their match and the remaining 2-players will play. If a time cannot be appropriately scheduled, the rank will be shared between the 3 players.

I recommend some practice games to make sure you are familiar with the rules!

Looking at the results there have been some thoroughly interesting games this round; well done everyone! The end is in sight!

Once the final 4 games are played in Round 2 - I will produce the Tables for the Round 3 - the final round of the competition!

I've had sporadic access this week but this weekend and next week in general I can try to be on from 10pm+ (GMT+1). I'm on my holiday from the 17th Oct for a week, so hopefully I can get my last match of this round down by then!

Well that was a very tense game with franks! Close throughout with lots of battling for cities and farms. Franks ultimately won the mega farm with an excellently placed meeple towards the end of the game, but I just managed to pip ahead with my final tile placement which closed off the big city at the top of the map and has my 3 point farmer on.

Ah thanks! The resolution on mine is always too high so the file is too big but I always end up lowering it too much!

Final game of our group took place today between me and Ailurus.

I was very lucky with my tile draws getting most of the cathar tiles to add to cities and I got the CFRF tile to finish my city and claim an instant 9 points from the shrine.

Good game Ailurus!

Looks like quite a game! Great use of farmers and Siege tiles by Ailurus on the left hand side, but it didnt seem to be enough!
