New Spielbox Expansion - "half and half"

Trying to get The English rules but i get The 404 error. I am getting a bit curious how The 8 plager big box wil combine with all the " till 6 plager " expansions like this. Sems like a waste.

Yeah, already thought about that. Many expansions over the years have only be scaled for six players, including The Abbeys, The Bridges, The Little Buildings, The Catapult, Half & Half, and others, I'm sure. Unless they start selling components from these expansions a la carte, I doubt we'll be able to play them properly with over six players.

Well, on The other hand i never had a game with more than 6 players. So before i can do that i should get more friends And a bigget table. Or just get one friend with an extensive multiple personality disorder so i can keep my table. Still if The bb 5 is going 4 xtra colours it ould b Nice if The realease an 7-8 Expansion box.

So I just noticed at the Spielbox shop website that for the English version of the magazine, they are referring to the new "Halb no Wild" expansion as "Halflings". Can anyone confirm that this is true? If so, yuck. Don't like that name. Carcassonne is not a role-playing game or a Hobbit knockoff. I may still refer to it (in English) as "Half & Half".

@wamboyil - I don't suppose this represents any deliberate sci-fi/ role-playing connotations, it's probably just a simple translation that has a nice ring to it which hasn't been checked against other English-language references.

Regardless of the official name, I am already referring to this expansion in my head simply as "The Triangles".

About a month ago I told my cousin about Half and Half and to this day he doesn't believe me this expansion exist.

Some of reasons as to why are:
- I can't say Half and Half with a straight face to him
- Explaining the tile's shape, that they are indeed triangles, is just way too farfetched of an idea

And he refuses to look it up for himself because he think's I'm just messing with him!

Hell it took me 5 years to get my wife to accept carcassonne might be a Nice game. And altough she enjoys it now she was really surprised there actually is a forum. Which i probably shouldn't have mentioned cause her form of humor would be to subribe And start trolling around in here...dammit

Thanks for your diligence, I only found out 14 different halftiles. I think there will never be a city at the long edge, only field or road, so there is page one of your sheet and some cloisters. But there are enough left to make an expansion ourselves.

I have to correct me: There are two half tiles with cities at the long edge in the HiG edition.

I got the following email on 17/10:

"Dear customer,

 The status of your order No. xxxxx from Donnerstag, 18. September 2014 has been changed.

 Link to order: click here

 New status: Shipped

 If you have any questions, please reply to this e-mail."

The magazine arrived on Wednesday this week.

To check your order:
- Go to www.spielbox-shop.com
- Log in with the e-mail and password you used when ordering (you can reset your password as long as you remember which e-mail you used).
- Go to “Your account” to find your orders with status.

I don't know if this applies in your situation but when I ordered from a foreign country the mail can get held up in customs for a week or so while they sort through it.

If its any comfort, I got the confirmation mail, but have not received it yet.
