Title: What happen when there is no legal place for bazaar auctioned tile?
Post by: farin on August 19, 2017, 05:59:40 AM
Should player draw random tile instead or is his turn skipped?

(In case of random draw there is still edge case when bag is empty and alternative tile can't be drawn)

I can't find anything in the CAR pdf file but the closest thing I can come up with is this:

The base rules states that if a tile is drawn and has no legal placement, it is removed from the game (alt rules: added back to the bag) and the player draws another. This should extend to the Bazaar as well and most likely would do so.

Base rules always extends to expansions, unless in the expansion rules it states that a base rule doesn't apply to a certain feature.

If the tile won thru an auction cannot be placed, it should be removed from the game and the player draws another to play instead.
