I would like to thank you all for your participation and contributions to the forum. This forum is really inspiring. :(y) Lots of fan made expansions, member who helps other members to get hold of hard to get items, and of course the CAR - our bible!
I wish you all a merry Christmas and an inspiring new year. :D

We have a MEGA Carc organized for the 29th. This time with 8+ players. It will be long and drawn out, but it will be festive!

I'm jealous.  I wish I could get a MegaCarc game in some time.

It's Christmas Eve and for the first time in about 4 years, at the request of my 19 year old daughter, Carcassonne has once again hit the table. We are currently teaching my 9 year old daughter how to play. Just playing the basic game for now; we'll see how she gets on.

Thanks to this forum, I've learned a lot about the game, and thanks to a few members here, was able to get some new 'international' expansions - not only for myself, but my family. :)

Today, as 4 previous years at 25th of December, we (3 families) go to a guest house with sauna and play boardgames till early morning! Wish to everyone celebrate Christmas that way! :))

I'm back fully after both computers crashed and a finger injury. Yep, that's my December 24th-25th. Seems I was naughty by Santa standard and no, it was not  my middle finger that got injured!

MrsNumbers together with our daughter had to skip this year, so I was representing our family on my own :)
Unfortunately, Carcassonne isn't popular in this particular company, "Ticket to Ride" was hitting our table (4 games out of 7 played).
