The abbot gray
« on: November 20, 2014, 06:40:10 AM »
A few days ago I received my copy of Carcassonne 2.0.
I was happy because I had finally abbots to play, but one thing bothered me, not having the abbot gray.
Today in about twenty minutes, during your lunch break at work, I took a piece of gray plastic and the ausiglio a tool specially created in the days before I realized this.
Some of this will send them as a Christmas present and as the time to achieve them is little I decided to create a kind of lottery. Of all the ones I ask you to have one by the end of the month, I extract 2 people who will receive them.

The interesting thing is that now that I know how to create them I have some projects in mind, the next will be a set of gray for the islanders of the South Seas.

A knight is sworn to valour.
His heart knows only virtue.
His blade defends the helpless.
His might upholds the weak.
His word speaks only truth.
His wrath undoes the wicked.

quevy - I'm not quite sure what you're saying as far as how you made them...and neither is my translator...but those look pretty good.

Did you color them with something other than paint?

By the way, what are the mechanics for the Abbot in the 2.0?

Are there any significant rule changes in the base rules for the game?
I just drew the perfect tile for my MonKnighThieFarmer!

No, I have not colored, I have made of gray plastic to work, the followers are darker gray but I think the difference is acceptable.
No changes to the rules, is the abbot of the sixth player (gray).

They work with the gardens of the tiles in Carcassonne 2.0. They can be put on a garden or on a cloister. The gardens have the same rules of the cloisters, 1 point for the tile garden, plus 1 for every tile surrounding.

And you can take the Abbott back in every turn you want, if you didn't place a follower before and you get the points like in the final scoring.

Can we convince you to make a few sets including pink and purple and sell them off?
Just lay the damn tile!
