Title: Need help with creating our wedding guest book
Post by: zatchstar on May 13, 2018, 06:56:22 PM
My fiance and I are getting married next year and plan to make wooden engraved carcassonne pieces for people to sign as our guest book. we will then assemble them in a picture frame and hang it in our board game room.

does anyone have high quality scans of the base game tiles and any other tiles you may be able to share? we found the tile pictures on BGG but it isn't a great image for engraving.

thanks in advance for any help!

You won't find anything here. It is not allowed to pass on scans in good resolution of the original tiles. Buy a game and scan it, then you have everything you need.  :)

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on yoyr wedding. I hope you and your fiance have a wonderful day!

I'm guessing you must own a copy of Carcassonne already, otherwise it seems strange that you'd make a guestbook landscape from a game you've never played! So since there are no hi-res downloads here I'd also suggest scanning your tiles and using these images.

Good luck and please post updates as your project progresses! Would be to great to see how it develops.

we do have a copy of the game as well as a few of the expansions, we just don't have access to a hi-res scanner.
we will be using the glowforge (https://glowforge.com/ (https://glowforge.com/)) to do the engraving and cutting.

we will figure something out. once we get it made I can post pictures of the custom pieces.
