Title: Spiel 14 fanmade rules

hello!
well this post is more for Fritz Spinne that has create the fanrule to play with the spiel 14 tile...
so... today I had my first game with new edition... I played with the river, the phantom, the messenger and also the spiel 14 tile with the fanrule! my question is... the cities that are connected with the city with the spiel 14 tile must be completed or just started?
aaand... at the end of the game, whats app if the city with the spiel 14 is incompleted?
in every way... new graphics are better in live but is really hard to adjust the eye with these tiles totally different!

Hello aenima,

I didn't point that out when writing the rules.
All cities, whether closed or as a start-up, count for the bonus points when closing the city with the promo tile. The same in the final scoring.
If you'd only count closed cities, your knight(s) would have to be placed in the city after closing, this would be not so easy, I think.

Indeed...
At the end of the game of yesterday spiel 14 was in an uncompleted city connected with no other cities... The tile was  drowed in the middle of the game and it was hard to try to connect it with the roads with other cities... I think it's really hard to play in this way this tile, first because for now you can only count on 73 tiles, second because a player is not really motivated to use his follower to try to take some bonus point that are really difficoult to have...
Well... this is my opinion...
The idea  remains really good! But it' hard to apply!

It is better to include an expansion with more road-city connections like "Traders and Builders".

In my rules there are chances and risks, if you draw the tile early in the game there are more chances, if you draw it late in the game there are more risks - just place it to an opponent's city!
