I know where La Porxada originally came from but in this case I always assumed it was jputt927 (the creator of the second cccf tile) because his name is on the PDF. But if that's not the case I stand corrected...

The cccf is just a bonus tile made by jputt927 for the fun of it I think...

One other thing to add to the collection, the monkey on my shoulder whispering in my ear, "Find a way to get it as soon as possible"

I know this monkey too. He costs me a lot of money...

Awesome work!  :(y) Merit for you.

I'm intrigued to know how many points that huge city is worth. I zoomed in a little but can't quite work it out. Also, maybe I'm wrong, but the tile in the 14th column from the right, top row looks like it isn't placed properly. It might be from Die Belagerer or something but it looks like it's a cccf tile and one of the c sides (west) is matched against a field edge? Like I say, it's difficult to tell from the photo.

EDIT: it's a lot clearer in one of the other photos, the tile is actually from Sheep & Hills and does appear to be misplaced. Sorry for spotting this.

My opinion may be somewhat biased because of the last time I played with this expansion (quite recently), but I was utterly ruthless with it and this turned out to be a key part of my strategy (much to my surprise).

Wherever possible, my favourite thing to do with the princess is to complete my opponent's city if it contains just one knight. The princess removes their knight leaving it unclaimed, and if the Phantom is also included (which it needs to be for this to make any sense) the city can then be claimed and completed in the same turn. Very, very annoying when it happens to you but very rewarding if you can do it to someone else!  :)

I'll place it later today, gotta head out for a while.  >:D

I reckon it's a cloister...

Please thank him from me and ask if he ever visits the UK, or if he would like to visit the UK for our national Carcassonne championship? I would love to have the opportunity to meet him for myself so I could shake his hand and thank him for all the enjoyment I’ve had from his work and ideas. I’m sure my daughter would like to thank him for “My First Carcassonne” too, even though she invents her own rules which seem to be different every time we play!

I had a couple of options with this one. Not sure how much of our strategies we want to divulge, but I was really torn between doing this and adding it to the west side of Red's city with a city side facing north such that a cccr tile would be required above it before Red's city and Black's road could be completed. In the end I decided it probably wasn't worth it and started my own city instead.

Over to you Yellow!  :meeple:

Imagine how I feel waiting to take my first move!

It's morning Rosco! 6:24am to be precise...  ^-^

@SRBO - it might seem early for a farmer but in a 5-player game I think that's a good move...

As I understand it, La Porxada is not an official release and should be downloadable content.

Indeed it is!

 :(y)

It looks like there’s a lot going on in that picture.

Having read the rules, does it seem simple enough to understand compared with, say, South Seas?

That's one way to ensure we all get the same number of turns! Nice work...  :(y)
